KANSAS CITY, Mo. ---- Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson has shown power and speed on plenty of his double-digit touchdown runs this season. But on one second-quarter catch against the Chargers on Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium, Johnson showed some nimble feet and buried the Chargers' playoff hopes.

With the Chiefs leading by seven points, Chiefs quarterback Trent Green threw a pass toward Johnson in the left flat. Johnson caught the ball and sprinted up the sideline. He ran over Chargers cornerback Jamar Fletcher and then cornerback Drayton Florence before rumbling through three more Chargers defenders and toward the goal-line pylon to score a 28-yard touchdown.

The score built the Chiefs' lead to two touchdowns, and the Chargers never recovered in a 20-7 loss.
