    Kaeding mixes it up
The postseason needs to be addressed – when it’s the postseason.
The regular season is the focus now, and history says Nate Kaeding is about as good as it gets over the long haul, September through December.
But the NFL’s most accurate kicker in history (173-for-200, 86.5 percent) said: “You can always get better … The only way you do that is by pushing the bar.”
So, about to start his eighth NFL season, Kaeding took up yoga and Pilates in the offseason, has varied his routine in the weight room and was given a new coach.
Among the differences that has meant is new special teams coach Rich Bisaccia spending parts of practices throwing socks and tennis balls at Kaeding as he attempts field goals.
“To make it as hectic as possible,” Kaeding said. “It’s a good time in my career to have a different slant.”

    Throwing socks and tennis balls?

Maybe a bullhorn right before he kicks or naked women would be a better distraction...

I'm sure there's some members here that would even pay to do that to Kaeding...

If/when we make it to the playoffs, coach needs to switch to bricks - I just posted this elsewhere:
"Kaeding has (//snip\\) a 53.3% mark in eight playoff games — with seven misses in 15 attempts."

I don't think I'd like to be suffering what Biaccia must have in mind for Nate's practices if/when we make the playoffs. #Imjustsaying

Nope - just force of habit instilled by BlueBolt and others in the old JNCP thread elsewhere. ;)

If memory serves correctly, (no pun intended) he was probably working out serving some food at his restaurant in Iowa City, aptly called Short's Burgers... (Please hold the laughter, no mayo)

For a kicker what else would you do besides exercises like yoga and pilates. Maybe some core?

What kind of training staff do the Bolts have?

So run in sand at the beach?

That doesn't sound like a very wise workout.

It originated as a mocking tribute to #95...... he used it liberally to end his tweets last year.

I read it gets your legs in top condition no matter what tests might be thrown your way.
