I was looking around and found a great deal on a Greene jersey. Do you know how long he is signed with the Padres, I couldn't find it.:icon_shrug: Thanks!

I think he's still on his rookie contract, but I could be wrong.

Then again, he made 2.25 mil this year, so he may have signed an extension?

    I'll keep looking

Ok, that was a 1 year contract signed in Janurary.

I think he's still too young (MLB-career wise) to hit free agency, but he might be eligible for arbitration now...

He's arbitration eligible, they signed him to a 1 year deal last season to avoid arbitration, they'll probably do the same this off-season.

After that at most I think he has 1 arbitration year left, either that or he'll be eligible for free agency.

I couldn't find anything definitive on official sites, but multiple sites I found all agreed that he's eligible for free agency in 2009
