Can we fire/demote Reich mid-season and bring in Whiz as OC again? :)

I'd even consider Whiz as a HC. He walked into a dumpster fire in Tennessee. If he'd bring Ray Horton with him and we retained Mike Nolan, can't even imagine what they would scheme up.

I was quite mistaken, I thought having a rookie QB would give Whiz a 1 year pass.

We should snatch him up as OC immediately, and make him the interim coach when McCoy is fired during the bye week!

I am not sure bringing in Whisenhunt is the answer. However, the Spanos family is so buffoon-like predictable, they will ride this season out, and all or most of next with current GM, HC, OC, maybe make Pags scapegoat at end of this season. Oh, and Donald Brown will get an extension.

I don't think they can or its plausible to hire a new OC midway through the season that would basically be using other peoples' codes/plays/etc.

having said that, there is absolutely NO freakin reason why Reich should be OC for so much as a DAY after the end of the regular season

That is why you DO NOT hire him as the OC.
You hire him as Asst, Head Coach in charge of offensive operations. He would help and tutor Reich. May actually be very beneficial for both.

But as Wissywig got all his money, he probably will sit home and enjoy the season.

While I'm convinced that Fred could do a better job of calling a game,
the corgi probably wouldn't take the job...so yeah, definitely sign KW back up!

    Won't happen.

Even if Wiz didn't give up on this team in the middle of the playoffs so he could go do interviews (which he did), he's not HC material, and neither is McCoy. This staff needs to be blown up, maybe Wiz can come in next year as OC if the new HC gives approval.

This is what I would like.. Won't happen either, unfortunately.

Hopefully Reich gets a chance somewhere, and if McCoy is still around, we can hire Whiz and we could still make the playoffs with a 9-7/10-6 records as the Wild Card!

We have plenty of other aspiring and seemingly resourceful wannabe coaches amongst our own ranks in here. Heck, some even seem to be composed from the human DNA! So please leave the poor pooch alone and let him enjoy his Daddy's retirement in peace and tranquility.

I'm guessing he'd get his full salary, as long as he doesn't take another HC gig, which obviously wouldn't be happening mid-season anyway. Therefore, there's no reason he couldn't be hired in some capacity, as long as he wants to remain active this season, and not just sit the rest out.

Well, and realistically, it's us and Pittsburgh that offer him the smoothest transitions - i.e. systems he's already familiar with.

Now, I could see him latching onto Pittsburgh if only because they're still in the hunt (even with losing Bell for the season) and could show him more prominently for a hire as an OC in the offseason. But Whis is pretty much in Norv and Wade territory now where teams have to realize that he's a solid (not great in the long-run, but someone who can get a good system in place before stagnating) coordinator, but just a crap HC. I just kind of wish Tennessee would have realized that from his post-Warner stint in Arizona so we wouldn't have had to endure what we had of Reich.
