Don't go jumping off any bridges, but Phillip put the team behind with his poor play. Playing well in the last 5 minutes of the game isn't good enough for a Superbowl trophy.

Rivers didn't get there by himself. He was getting hammered all day long, and he played tough.

The path of the Chosen One is only understood by a select few priviledged mortals.

The rest - well - are borderline brain dead.

You don't become a champion by having a 130 QBR in every game. You get there by fighting through the tough times and persevering. At GB, at Minny, at J'ville, Rivers and the Bolts were unable to do that. Today, they did it. That was a breakthough game for Rivers and a breakthrough game for the team.

There was at least one time where Rivers ran back into a sack. But McNeill was getting smoked today. Rivers does need to do better at stepping up, but his O-line needs to do alot better, too.

He'll get there, but I agree. I hate it when he drifts laterally in the pocket.

    WHAT A GREAT WIN!!!!!!!!

You have to give my boy PR some major props for hanging in there for this awesome victory. He couldn't have folded up the tents (like most of us did, inc. me) and gave up but with LT and his team yelling at him, and injured leg and a HORRIBLE o-line he manages to win this game on the road against a LOUD crowd and TOUGH defense. MAJOR props to PR. He's taken a lot of crap, much deserved but hung in there and pulls it out. Kudos to PR man big time!!!

Oh leisure....please dont make these type of posts. You know better . At least i hope you know better.
McNeill whiffed because of Rivers moving out of the pocket?
You have to be kidding me. He got blown up plenty by himself and Rivers got plowed a couple of times from the backside and didnt even have time to set up. Not all were because he moved laterally. McNeill got flat beat today at times.

I actually watched this game with no alcohol and in my underwear and when I hear about this mythical pocket, I keep asking myself where the fuc is it? :icon_shrug:

If you did not notice a big fat POS named Fat ALBERT AND CREW abusing the so-called pocket for Rivers to enjoy, then you were too effing drunk.

I can count on one or maybe two hands where Rivers had time top throw the goddamnn ball.

Dileman was abused. I had never seen Dielman get that dominated. For that matter, our entire line was pillaged and r-a-p-e-d-.

McNeill got beat badly a few times today....BADLY!

Dont blame those on Rivers. He has his back to him and had no time to even set up. Been going on since the 1920's leisure

We just witnessed the changing of the guard, this is now Rivers team. He took it over in true Dan Fouts style.

I appreciate everyone's opinion. I just have never seen Mtl post anything that would indicate that he is a Charger fan and not an Mtl fan.......
