...Sorry if someone else may have already made this comparison but isn't it interesting how these two teams show an almost complete role/reversal from the same rivals of the 80's. The 80's white boy Celts had Bird, McHale, that whiny crybaby faced brat (can't remember his name) while the athletic Lakers had Magic, Worthy, Kareem, Cooper, Byron Scott, etc. Now it's the Lakers who are loaded up on white boys (albeit mostly european) going against what seems to a superiorly athletic group of athletes in bean town. Do the Celtics even have a white player?

The Lakers need to get these guys to muscle-up and get tougher or they won't be able to hang with the elite. It's possible that this present team is suffering from TMWF's. That would translate to...TOO MANY WHITE FOLKS

There are tough white players/euro players. I have seen all these guys play with a mean streak at one time or another...

    Zaza Pachulia
    Andres Nocioni
    Dirk Nowitzki
    Andris Biedrins
    Jeff Foster
    Chris Kaman
    Darko Milicic
Mike Miller (pretty tough for a shooting guard)
    Jorge Garbajosa
    Primoz Brezec
    Matt Harpring
    Andrei Kirilenko
