With rounds 2-3 on the way its time to see what everyone thinks about our few late round picks. What would you guys like to see. I would suggest We draft a kicker in the 5th or 6th personally as its one of our most pressing needs.

    Some kickers are

    Alex Henery, K, Nebraska
    Height: 6-2. Weight: 175.
    Projected Round (2011): 5-7.
    5/15/10: Alex Henery was 24-of-28 in 2009, converting 7-of-8 from 40-49 and 2-of-5 from 50-plus.

    ]

    Kai Forbath, K, UCLA
    Height: 6-0. Weight: 192.
    Projected Round (2011): 6-FA.
1/30/11: Kai Forbath was wide left from 44 yards in the Senior Bowl. The kick wasn't even close.

5/15/10: Kai Forbath hit 28-of-31 field goals in 2009, with his only misses coming from 50-plus, where he was 3-of-6.

    Josh Jasper, K, LSU
    Height: 5-10. Weight: 173.
    Projected Round (2011): 6-FA.

    Thomas Weber, K, Arizona State
    Height: 6-0. Weight: 207.
    Projected Round (2011): 6-FA.

    Wes Byrum, K, Auburn
    Height: 6-2. Weight: 209.
    Projected Round (2011): 7-FA.
    5/15/10: Wes Byrum went 15-of-16 on his 2009 field-goal tries, including 5-of-6 from 40-49. He didn't attempt a 50-yarder.

    Dan Bailey, K, Oklahoma State
    Height: 6-0. Weight: 200.
    Projected Round (2011): 7-FA.

All other draft picks will ultimately be wasted if this happens again[/video]

I wouldn't mind seeing this. Maybe we could sign him as udfa and sit him behind Kaeding the whole season. THen come playoff time he can have the starting job.

Don't want a rookie K, don't want to deal with someone who hasn't made pressure kicks and might not be able to do it again. Seriously

Get me a free agent or possibly a UDFA

I understand where your coming from but it still can't be as bad as some who is proven to mistt the big pressure playoff kicks year after year. Kaeding is a great kicker, hes just a horrible clutch player.
