If the defense had bothered to show up, none of that would have mattered. Spin it any way you want, but the Chargers lost this game, not the ref(s).

I think the bigger issue is the replay cameras not working.

I think the bigger issue is giving up 39 points and 486 total yards to Denver.

I don't know if that first questionable call would have been reversed. It appeared to me (through my orange colored glasses) that the ball may have been coming out before he went down.

As to the second call, well...

    uh....

    I'm OK with it. :D

Had the Chargers D forced a fumble that had not been allowed due to the whistle then I'd be pissed (well, more pissed) but this was a gift, the D did nothing to stop the donks from scoring TWICE.

I put the loss 80% on the D, 20% on the officiating and 0% on the O and ST

We ALL know that our defense needs to improve. Maybe the Donks can say the same thing about their defense right now.

But I think an explanation is in order about why the replay screen wasn't working!!!
It should cost many people their jobs!!

Can't blame ya, man. If the shoe were on the other foot, I'd duck the tirades & take the win. You got balls enough to be here, so you get a pass from me. As long as you stay nice.

Just so ya know - the refs screwed the pooch on that first call, too. :icon_sad:

Still, our D played like **** & has to accept the lion's share of the blame. I swear, if I ever get within arm's reach of Fat Teddy, I'm going to jail. :icon_evil:

The call sucked, but the biggest problem was allowing them to march down the field like that.

    I HATE PREVENT DEFENSES!!! :icon_evil:

I was at the game yesterday, and just about everyone in our group of 200 commented on the rudeness of the Denver Broncos fans. I've never seen anything like. I'll admit that I've never been to a game in Oakland.... but these Denver aholes were something else.

For many reasons I plan on being at the 12/28/08 game... One to see us payback the Broncos and two to show the Denver fans that have the nerve to show up that some home team fans actually have some class. :football:

Replay machines not working and a ref on the take, IMO, blowing the whistle before a fumble was recovered...were just sickening.

Did the NFL address that yet? Don't they test it out before the game?

That's too bad. I had heard that Denver fans were fairly cool.

For crying out loud. Louisiana had a hurricane come thru with storm surge, rain, power outages and wind blowing etc and the review equipment worked fine at the Saints game. How come in Denver where nothing blows but the donks, the equipment doesn't work? Has this ever happened at a game before? Another thing I saw at the game was Volek running out on the field to yell the play to Rivers. Is this the norm for the Chargers or was the comms out to the QB?
