The Bears will win the Super Bowl.

Manning eats **** and gets picked off 6 times.

PS.... I will be in Texas this week starting the day of the Super Bowl. I will try and hook up with Shammy and BFISA to get final instructions on hanging leisure by his nuts. :)

I was listening to sports talk radio this morning to some guy named Brandon Lang. He claims to be 14-0-2 in the last 16 superbowls. He has a website - www.brandonlang.com

He picks the colts for the following reasons:

    - Not a good matchup for the bears in that they struggle against good passing teams.

    - Talked about the bears vs. AZ this season. Said Leinhart was picking the bears secondary to pieces. Bears were lucky to win that game.

    - Said that bears will not be able to run. Colts will stack the box and force grossman to beat them.

    - Said that when the bears played seattle, WR's for seattle were running free all day long wide open.

    - Said that bears should have lost to NO, but brees had his worse passing game of the season.

    - Says that SB comes down to matchups and bears Defense is over-rated and can't do anything against good passing teams.

    - Says that colts win this one 31-13.

I think we should make DOG's teaser the official LLV Super Bowl play!

Unfortunatly anyone that isn't already in on it wont be able to get +14, but I think CHI + double digits is solid.

    DOGs teaser was (I believe)
    CHI +14
    UNDER 55

Anybody else on board for an all-LLV play?

I tend to agree with you when you look at this game on paper...BUT... it's only one game in the unpredictable NFL. It's going to depend on who's on their game.

    The under 48.5 looks good.

    Go Bears!

Is that his record picking winners or against the spread? 'Cause I've never heard of a tie in the superbowl. (EDIT: If anybody knows where we might find out if there have been two ties ATS in the superbowl in the last 16 years we might confirm the legitimacy of his record)

The #1 reason I think the Bears have a good chance is pressure. QBs have less time to read the field against the Bears than against any other team in the NFL. That's why Brees had his worst passing game of the year. I believe the Bears will be able to get to Peyton. And we all know what happens when Peyton gets pressured... he slaps his hand against the turf and starts looking like his little brother.

He said his picks were against the spread. He said the two games that were pushes were the SB that Desmond Howard scored a touchdown and I believe the Titans-Rams SB, although I'm going by memory.

Yeah, he comes on every week with Steve Mason and John Ireland, and they just roast him. Lang is 0-for-the playoffs this year, an incredible string of bad picks.

PS. Hey Lash, we look forward to hanging with you in LLV next year.

    TK in the playoffs:

    Wildcard Playoffs
INDY -7 vs Kansas City WINNER
    Dallas +3 @ Seattle WINNER
NEW YORK JETS +8.5 @ New England LOSER
PHILADELPHIA -7 vs New York Giants LOSER

    Divisional Playoffs
    INDY +4 @ Baltimore WINNER
Philadelphia +5 @ New Orleans WINNER
(Did not bet SD-NE or CHI-SEA)

    Conference Championship
CHICAGO -2 vs New Orleans WINNER
INDY -3 vs New England WINNER

Dog, I'm going with Indy big over Chicago. Most Super Bowls are decided by more than a touchdown anyways.

Peyton Manning will have a huge game; there is less pressure on him now than in any other postseason game, now that he finally beat New England.

Manning or Dallas Clark will be the MVP.

I'm telling you guys the under is a lock. You know vegas is going to cash in on all the guys who think this is 'peyton's year' and that pathetic reason alone will be enough to sway the lines in favor of over and the colts given the number of casual betters layin some cheddar on this one. The reality is that these are the chicago bears and that rex grossman is their quarterback = few points. Indy isn't just going to pass pass pass pass pass they have been patient all year and will use the run to set up the pass. Chicago is a lock to kill the clock as well. This is a no-brainer and of course its more fun for people to pick a team but if you want MONEY then go with the under like I said. This is my last 'warning' :abq2:

Digging holes sucks. I should have hired one of the illegals at Home Depot to dig it for me. I'm absolutely worked.

Better get on the record on this one.

I like the teaser that dog and IAD are pimping but think the under is the best bet of 'em all.

    GL!

Come on guys we all know Grossman is a fool. The only way he comes out of this game as a hero is if he gets extremely lucky bombing the ball downfield. All he can do is lob it up and pray his receivers make a play on it... the guy has no accuracy. 48.5 points is way too much the line should really be 41.5 or something. Does anyone really think that Indy is going to put up 28 points against chicago? All I see are 27-21, 28-24 scores like this.... come on now. Under 48.5 is the best bet do you really think MTL the legend would let you guys down on the last game of the year? Vegas is trying to get you to think too much, the reality is that they frucked up big time, thinking that the Bears defense is on the downward spiral and that Peyton is going to be untouchable. The Bears defense is PEAKING again, they will have Tank Johnson and will have had time to rest. Yes the field goals will be automatic but still... 48.5 points is insane.
