well east coast people don't have the luxury of watching shows live at 'west coast time' as you seem to have

Oh my Dallas really did win. I thought Buffalo had won. It's been such a long exhausting day.

Kim. I used to love it when I had the east coast and west coast feeds when I had Dish.

Yes, but if you miss your show at east coast time, you can turn into the west coast feed... but it will prolly be on too late...

Or you can do what most of us do which is record your shows and watch them at a later time, commercial free.

NCAAF has been royally ****ed up this year. The talent level is evening out all across the board.

BC could beat CAL straight up. Cal is giving up 268 yards through the air on avg and their running game is statistically stronger than their passing game and BC's run defense is a shut-down type run defense they are giving up 49.7 yards on the ground per game on avg. Cal's weaknesses play right into BC's strengths = no contest.

    Let's look at the schedules

Sat, Oct 13 at Notre Dame 3:30 pm --
Thu, Oct 25 at (12) Virginia Tech 7:30 pm --
Sat, Nov 3 (21) Florida State TBA --
Sat, Nov 10 at Maryland TBA --
Sat, Nov 17 at Clemson TBA --
Sat, Nov 24 Miami (FL) TBA

    and

Sat, Oct 13 Oregon State 7:00 pm --
Sat, Oct 20 at UCLA 3:30 pm --
Sat, Oct 27 at (14) Arizona State 10:00 pm --
Sat, Nov 3 Washington State 10:00 pm --
    Sat, Nov 10 (10) USC 8:00 pm --
Sat, Nov 17 at Washington TBA --
Sat, Dec 1 at Stanford 7:00 pm

Well besides the WILD pac10 where anything can happen any week, Arizona State and USC are more dangerous foes than Virginia Tech and Florida State. CAL has seven games remaining which just means one more opportunity for a loss to send them crashing in the rankings than BC. If you look at all the teams BC faces, all of them are run heavy/run stopping teams who cannot pass nor contain the pass well enough to make up for their lack of a passing game. BC's weakness is pass defense and although they have tons of interceptions they give up a lot of yards. The only HUGE threat I see to BC is the game @ Clemson as Cullen Harper is a legit QB. Cal I see having a far tougher finish and will be threatened by USC and @ Washington and maybe even this week vs. Oregon State coming off the bye.

leisure and i have a different theory about the ncaa changing to a more competitive 'even playing field' type league, evening out the recruiting and the fact that there are so many legit athletes now the talent pools are overflowing and there have been more commits to local colleges. the week 1 appalachian state win over michigan basically sums up this entire CFB season.

also i never remember seeing so many missed PATs in ncaafb. never. it seems there is at least one missed PAT per game on avg this year.

I'm looking at the new CFB rankings and they are fugged.

LSU is #1 as pretty much everyone agrees.

What I don't get is why USC is ranked #10 and Wisconsin is ranked #19 in the AP poll.

Wisconsin was ranked #5 and lost to a good Illinois team that was almost ranked in the top 25, on the road by 5 points. They fell 14 spots.

USC lost to a nobody team, at home, and fell only 8 spots from #2 to #10.

If anything, USC should have fallen 14 or 15 spots, and Wisconsin just 6 or 7.

I know I know I'm a total scumbag. To be perfectly frank I've not been terribly active here for the last week or two because I've been pretty terrible with my NFL plays. I didn't make a single bet this week. The only play I would have made in the NFL is TB +10... which proved to be a loser. I'm just tired of tailing everybody's CFB picks and I have no confidence in my own NFL plays right now so... :icon_shrug:

But I'll effort to be more involved this week... hanest. :icon_mrgreen:
