    From: http://www.chargers.com/schedule/non..._opponents.htm

Looks like the new rivalry against the Patriots will continue through 2009.

    2008
Home = NE, NYJ, ATL, CAR, AFCS
Away = BUF, MIA, NO, TB, AFCN

As it stands today, AFCS = Colts and AFCN = Steelers
Most notable games = NE @ Home, AFCS (Colts) @ Home, Drew Brees @ NO, and Cam Cameron @ MIA
2 possible "Freezer" games = BUF and AFCN (Steelers)

    2009
Home = BAL, CIN, PHIL, WAS, AFCE
Away = CLE, PIT, DAL, NYG, AFCS

If they continue to dominate AFCE should be Patriots.
Most notable games = AFCE (Patriots) @ Home, LT going home @ DAL
3 possible "Freezer" games = CLE, PIT, NYG

Those are some good looking games there!!!

2008 is going to be a meat grinder.
drawing the AFCS, the AFCN, + New England is not a good thing.

    ? :icon_huh:

the Chargers will be playing the AFC East, and, if they finish first in the division they will play the first place teams of the other 2 AFC division

maybe you meant the NFC south? :icon_shrug:

I thought that if you won your division, you automatically get scheduled to play the other conference division winners (hence this year we play(ed) Indy, Balt, and NE). So assuming we win our division this year, of course we would play NE, Indy, and Pitt.

Hey Philly, who's the gal in your avatar? WOW!!!!

You are right maestro....the Ravens and Pats were scheduled because they/we finished first in our division but the Colts were scheduled as part of the AFCS draw.

That’s the second option for the Chargers sponsored road trip, depending on the game date. If the New Orleans game falls on a holiday weekend then Miami gets the nod.

Isn't the Stadium like miles away from the city in Miami?
