He won't get any love because LT thanked Spanos.

AJ doesn't care... and neither should we.

All that matters is that we can now all be friends again.

    *group hug*

Phew!! This is good news.........I think we can all agree that LT's best days are more than likely behind him, but I didn't want to see him finish his career elsewhere like the great Junior Say-OW, or be kicked to the curb like a pail of garbage.

    Welcome back, LT!!!!!!!!!

I like Bennett and he really wants to be part of the team, he's got great speed and isn't going to bust the bank - couldn't hurt to give him a shot in camp to make a role for himself maybe on ST? if he's not getting a ton of carries on O :icon_shrug: a little competition never hurt anyone

Plus he has the same bday as me, so he's immediately awesome and i unreasonably heart him.

It would be really nice if we had a second round pick. What I'd prefer is picking up a stud defensive or offensive linemen with the first because getting good guys for those positions is incredibly important and very difficult to get in the later rounds. We should, no we MUST go after a RB but it should be later on. The Chargers have done very well picking a RB that caught their eye later in the draft and turning him into a great RB, like Turner.

    We should go this route.

But if one of the top 2 RBs is sitting there... it'll be tough to pass up

Yes it will be but there really isn't an a future pro bowler RB in this draft in my opinion. Moreno was slow at the combine and came away without impressing anybody. My fear is that almost every team, save for SF and Detroit and of course Oakland, is looking oline and they're going to gut the draft class for the line nice and early taking away the "Marcus McNeils" and guys like that leaving us to pick a dude who just can't carry the weight in the NFL. As for defensive guys I think they're hit and miss this year and I just hope the Chargers manage to hit.

I have seen most of Morenos games and he is over rated. My top RB is Shonn Greene but I wouldn't take him in the first round. I say get the beef first then see what we can do later. :icon_toast:

No way. We need some more fukin beef in the trenches. That is where we got our asses kicked by the Steelers.

    OL, DL, MLB.

I want some mean angry mfukers drafted. Types like Foley was ON the field.

ISLB yes, the Stillers killed us running and in the intermediate pass routes. Not to mention, our running game was non-existent. If you can't run and you can't stop the run, you ain't gonna win in the playoffs.

Weddle had a rough year calling the D. I saw him make some boneheaded plays yet the dude is a gamer. He can ball and he will get better. I cut him mega slack. Hart should have been at FS but I am done banging that coaching drum. If the D-line can do their jobs (actually the entire front 7), our present secondary will look like superstars.

    It's a question... not a statement.
    It's also speculation... not fact.
