Probably figures he'll get more playing time behind Greene than he will AP.

It was sad to see Muhammed Ali keep fighting when we all knew his time was done. LT is no different in the same respect to Ali.

BTW: WTF was that LT video ??? .... Jim Brown must be wanting to punch another woman to prove he was right. :bolt:

Thomas Jones is better than LT in 2010. Jones and LT signed both 2 year 5 million. Why didn't the Jets keep Jones?

So he will back up Shonn Greene. He could have backed up and mentored a young RB here.

He was bitter. LT needed a change I understand that. But why make this move if your the Jets? I will be willing to bet the jets don't make the playoffs this year

But he would have had to continue running behind a bad line in a pass 1st offense, rather than going to the Jets were he will get way better opportunities to run the ball.

What it comes down to, he didn't want to keep playing for Norv. And I can't say I blame him

They will sell more tickets as a winning team. They have a better chance of winning with Jones. And They are still sharing a stadium with the Giants. Wont that lessen the need to draw fans in New York. NY will eat LT alive. He is WAY too sensitive to play in a city like that. Its not a good fit.

He will no longer be "LT" to me. He is now LaDainian Tomlinson.

When LT meets the Chargers, I hope every Bolt fan is rooting for someone on the Bolt defense to knock the crap out of LT.

It's hard to believe, but true. LT is a green man in NY.

Of course Jets wanna big names to get people into the stadium

sure there's Schottenheimer's son and a run happy offense

okay Jets threw the Chargers out of playoffs twice

but a honorable and social Texanian countryrunner at chaotic and intriguing Big Apple? These things don't fit. Don't believe LT and his family will feel better than in San Diego.

This is a blip on his radar. If infact he does go to NY. Thoes fans will crush him. He will play in NY 1 or 2 years and retire a Charger

Why? LT was released. Him remaining a Charger was not in his control.

I wonder if LT will wipe his feet on the mid-field Bolt logo if given the chance ? :icon_shrug:

We need a solid Full Back in order to make that happen.

I would settle for one of Nates wide rights to knock him in the head. We are talking about the Jets/Playoffs here. :icon_rofl:

No need to demonize the guy. He gave everything he had to the team and community. If it were his decision, he'd still be here.

I do not root for former players if they are on the opposing team on gameday.

....So I will not root for LT to have a good day against us.

He is now the enemy when he dons a uniform while playing against the Bolts otherwise, I wish him well.....and a forearm shiver when he lines up against the defense.

He could have kept his comments about the locker room on his way out to himself but instead he chose to air it out. Not cool for Mr. Class and not cool for teammates to talk chit in the media...you know...as they are looking for employment.

    So what?
I have no hate for the Jets or Ryan. That's just being sour grapes and nothing else. The Jets outplayed us and outcoached us... and it's nobody's fault but the Chargers. The fans were more amped up for the game than the team!

The Jets wanted that game more than our Chargers and there's no point denying that.

Neither will I but I'm not going to root for him to get injured either.
