...His bum toe has probably hindered this but on LT's two TD runs, he broke off his signature cutback move. The 41 yarder was so simple in design, one strong move to the left, seal the left side of the Raider line, one strong move to the right into absolute daylight. He stumbled badly two or three times on his 14 yard TD but it too was a cutback. Maybe he's getting more comfortable on the toe although he still seems really hobbled at times. Nice to see him regain some of his form though. Could have had 3 TDs because on that short flare that he dropped...he could have coasted in with ease.

Ya I am sure this thread will bring out the "LT has lost a step homers". Sad thing is some are gonna be eating crow by the end of the season. Something tells me LT is getting ready to light up the scoreboard.

It took 4-5 games last year before he found his groove. I don't know if it's the toe or not but something is not right.

I looked at the 41 yarder and I don't think it was that strong of a cutback. It looked like he saw something early because it looked like he was angle toward the sideline before he even took possesion of the ball. Still, great run.

So, in summary... i looked at.

The cut was quick and probably on balance because he did see something, but nobody made up ground on him very quickly. He could probably have scored from another five yards out. Miami had best watch out.

He's definately improving week to week. Hopefully with all the passing we've been doing and LT still not quite himself other teams will not be concentrating on him. Then we can pound the rock a bit more, control the pace of the game, put in a more balanced showing in the first half and then pull away in the second half.

We need to establish the rythm with the running game earlier than we have.

LT will always be LT. I just thought it would be a good idea for him sit out and let his toe get healthy.

    But maybe not.

LT has to discover his balls first before he discovers his "cutback".

maybe they should play him a little in the pre-season for age reasons - help him get into the groove faster
