He was at fault too. He always wanted to renegociate his contract seems like every year.

BS, he had an amazing OL in front of him. Dickerson doesn't even belong in the argument of "best ever".

Well, I think in the next few years, we obviously have to start looking at replacement backs .. but, losing a step it just silly.

How are TDs much a measure of a back?

Whether a team passes down to the 1 yard line and lets a back run it in, or designs their entire offense around the back.. I think it's a pretty empty stat in terms of historical significance......... BUT it is an exciting one to watch.

TD's measure the dudes heart in my fan book.

Consider the thousands upon thousands of football games to already have been played. To set a record of any kind is an accomplishment which should NOT go unnoticed or unrecognized as being anything less than worthy.

More than just TD's, this is a simple illustration that LT is as good or better than most backs by almost any measure.

Rushing yards? Only ED is better through 6 years...and it isn't that far off...considering that ED ran behind a phenomenal line entering the league and LT ran behind crap for years....really until this year.

YFS? LT leads everyone by a wide margin through 6 years.

TD's? Rushing or total TD's....slice it anyway you want..LT is the best at this point in his career.

The question is longevity...ED was pretty much done after 7 years...Emmitt turned into more of a compiler....Barry didn't have his best year until year 9. What will LT do?
