    My issues....

    1. Jammer (93) has a higher rating than Cromartie (92)!
    2. Kaeding is a 94! They should probably reverse that to a 49!
    3. Clary only an 80, not bad but deserves higher.
    4. Weddle only 79, DEFINANTLY deserves higher, at least better than Clinton Hart who they gave an 85!

    Other than that, we're stacked!:abq2:

LOL @ Kaeding! You are right, he doesn't deserve a 94 this year.

Why is Jammer always overrated on Madden?

    86 for my boy Igor

Jammer has finally been improving and playing alot better, so he deserves it.
And i can understand keeping cro a bit lower then Jammer (just the one year wonder thing)

Cro had more picks in 11 starts (inc. playoffs) last year than Jammer has had in his whole carrer.

Weddle should be higher ranked and Cro should be above Jammer, but the rest is pretty good.

So INT's to you define the quality of a CB? Jammer also didnt give up any TD's and Cro did.

Im not going to bag on Cro because he has really stepped it up but Jammer has been a rock out there and they dont throw his way as often. He just doesnt get a lot of INT's. I dont have an issue with those numbers Madden gave them.

They probably gave Cro the better catch ability so it will work out.

In any case...i think the NCAA game is better than Madden.

    exactly
Also, why do you think Cro was able to get 11 ints?
Even with how amazing he was, teams still would rather throw at him than Jammer

Jammer is a top 5 cb right now and that rating is VERY justified.

Dont try to broaden my context. I only meant Cro has been phenomenally more productive. Jammer had only 1 INT in the 07' season, Cromartie had 3 in the Indy game alone when Jammer wasn't even on the other side of the field.

I like Jammer, I think he's extremely physical and versitle at the CB position, and I think he deserved a 90 or 91, but he's not better than Cromartie and he definantly wont be in years to come.

    Interceptions don't define a cornerback's productivity.

It doesnt matter if you define the CB position by stats or not, there is no argument in favor of Jammer being the better player.

There are several arguments to make but apparently there is only one you want to use.

No question Cromartie is the better athlete and he had a lot of INT's but again, he also gave up more plays than Jammer too, including TD's.

He'll get better and surely pass Jammer as the better CB and it could very well be this year. I just dont think a 1 point difference rating in Madden warrants an issue from their play from last season. Like i said, they probably gave Cro the better catch ability number which would be accurate as well.

They have left off some of our players before and i dont know why they do that. Left Osgood and Floyd off one year and Wilhelm another.

You'd think a QB would be bigger than a couple 5th string WRs though.
