Not sure Mangini deserved to go. Certainly the guy who brought in Favre and let Chad go looks like some fool now. I'm glad we have someone who has a clue making our personnel decisions, some ridiculous contracts apart.

Whoever pulled the trigger on the Favre deal needs to be homeless by 5pm tonight.

It was so awesome to see Pennington stick it to them yesterday.

If Chudzinski does not survive the cull in Cleveland I'd like to see him back in SD. He knows all the players. Not sure the disaster in Cleveland was all his fault.

Whoa! I wasn't expecting that. Who would fire Mangini? He was doing great by most standards, playing football in the toughest of divisions with a lackluster defense and a brand new, but very old, quarterback. He missed the Playoffs by one game and gets canned. I guess it's New York though and boy New Yorkers take the JETS very seriously. That office probably had a ton of pressure to release him. Question is who do they hire? I highly doubt anyone new could take the Jets back up to even this level. This really could be, and I think it will be, a stupid move.

Whoa, a ton of new coaches needed across the country.
Bears aren't happy with Smith, JETS fire Mangini, NO expresses a desire for a new direction, the Seachickens need one, KC is sick of Herm and lost a GM, the Browns need one, Al Davis is gonna fire Cable, Jerry Jones is pissed and might KILL Wade, Snyder is looking for "something better," and JAX is mum on Del Rio.

Firing Del Rio would be a huge mistake.

I was pointing out their problems in relation to our own earlier this season. The one thing working in Del Rio's favor is the massive amount of injuries they had.

I like Del Rio a lot, too.

Very similar '08 seasons & quite disappointing when you look at our teams' performances last year & pre-season predictions.

Del Rio is a lot like Rivera, IMO. A player's coach. Hard-nosed, but fair.
