    To his defense, Peyton was pretty hot in December as well.

    He deserves it, but hopefully it'll be the only thing he has left going for him and his 2008 season after tomorrow.

    It's all about the record and Rivers' team just doesn't have the W's. Hey remember when LT got it the night before a huge playoff game? How'd that turn out. Michael Turner should have gotten it. I am surprised Pennington got a couple votes. I figured Brees and Rivers would get a lot more though as well. MVP's don't win Superbowls anymore.

    Guys, seriously... for the first time all season... I am 100% positive we are going to win this game.

    That fu.cking Alien HC of ours has twisted my brain like a piece of taffy. But at least it feels good now.

    Unlike his little brother, Peyton is a great player and a class act.

    Congrats Peyton, you deserved it.

    I thought the biggest joke of the season was Favre going to the pro-bowl, but AP decided to up the ante.

    He is a class act. But did he really deserve it over guys like Pennington, Turner, or Ryan? He did exactly what was expected of him, that's take the colts back into the playoffs. He may have led them to a 9 game win streak, but he also the reason why they started out 3-4.

    Just because he's expected to have an MVP caliber season doesn't take away from the fact that it's an MVP caliber season.

    As much as I love PR and would have loved to see him get some respect - I still think Demarcus Ware or Troy Polumanu should have gotten it. Especially Ware. Defensive players always get the short end of the stick with these awards and the HoF :(

    I'm with B4L. I totally get it, Manning had a great season but defintiely one reason Rivers was heavily overlooked was the play of the Chargers. The Blue and gold glasses are always on.

    I dont think so. Rivers had a great year but the Chargers did not. Mannings team was winning, ours looked to be heading for an early round pick.

    Manning can have league MVP. I want Rivers to have the Superbowl MVP.

    Did anybody else see that guy holding the sign at the game that said:

    Cutler = Pro-bowl

    Manning = MVP

    Both of them at home watching Rivers play in the Playoffs = Priceless

    Excellent sign. I want a picture of that:tup:

    It should come down to stats, not how many wins your team has.

    If we had 10 wins Rivers would have got alot more votes than 4. The media is in love with Favre and Manning, especially those queers at ESPN, and CBS (Marino).

    Did anyone else hear Marino Sunday say he wished the overtime rule was changed, and he wished Manning had a shot in overtime to get the ball and score??? WTF, he had 4 F**king quarters to get the job done, especially at the end of the game. His *** got sacked on the one yard line.

    You think Marino was rooting for Manning and the Colts??

    F**k Marino and F**k Manning.

    He's a tool. :yes:

    I think both teams should be guaranteed one possession in OT, but I won't complain when the dumb rule benefits the Chargers. :abq2:
