"He's got a little bit of a sore toe,"

Wanna bet that this is not the last we hear of this toe issue?

If you mean for this season...sure, I'll bet a...hmmm... I could go for a
large 7-11 slurpee (original pepsi). What you layin' on the table?

Hopefully we are smart about this toe issue and don't beat him up in training camp. We are going to need a 100% healthy Mathews and Tolbert to get through this season as AFC West champs.

I couldn't agree more. If we can keep both of 'em healthy throughout the season, we will kick *** and take names. If not.......and if Gates or VJ goes down, we are FUBAR.

I hope Ryan delivers the expectations of a fan base that's hard to please.

I'm mindful of the fact that RB's take time to develop, adjust from College football to the rigors of NFL and have a lot of brain work to take on-board.

My favorite RB of all time is Thurman Thomas from the Bills and his first year wasn't fantastic, in fact if you see his 9 fumble stat for year 1 from 206 carries and 7 fumbles for year 2 from 297, Ryan's 4 from 158 doesn't look too shabby by comparison.

I'm looking forward to seeing his first of many 1000+ yard rushing seasons.

This kid reminds me a little of Chuck Muncie, especially with the fumblitis. He has good size, speed and power and I'd love to see him pan out and become a nightmare for DC's across the NFL. He's going to have to work at it and that means even through the off-season, lets just hope he finds that commitment.
