    McKinney healing rapidly

Good news for the Chargers: Brandon McKinney's high ankle sprain appears to be healing remarkably quick. He is walking without a protective boot today and could return to practice next week. He is the No.2 nose tackle. His health allows Ryon Bingham to play end, a better spot for him, rather than back up Jamal Williams ... Drayton Florence keeps on tearing it up. On back-to-back plays today he knocked down a pass and intercepted a pass ... Matt Wilhelm (calf) and Igor Olshansky (groin) sat out ... Eric Weddle continues to be in the right spot most of the time. Thing is, so does Clinton Hart. The upside on Weddle is greater, but Hart might be the best guy to start right now because of his familiarity with the other guys in the secondary. Regardless, Weddle is going to be on the field a lot. And he will be the starter sooner or later.

    Comments

It seems as though the two best safety's this summer have been Hart abd Weddle. So why does McCree get a free pass. Start Hart as SS and Weddle as FS with McCree adding depth at either position and playing nickle / dime.

    What did I tell you.

That HGH is really amazing stuff. Igor was healed in one week after knee surgery. He was probably so loaded up on HGH that the wounds started healing around the doctors scapel before he even started cutting. :icon_eek:

High ankle sprains are a biitch and slow healers.

I said in another thread that the dude would be loaded up with so much HGH that it would allow a whale to walk on land.

    Bada bing.

There are degrees of sprains. Could have been a mild one, but yeah since HGH is not tested for, I wouldn't be surprised if it is commonly used in the league......

I wouldn't be surprised if HGH is widely used, but is there any proof that injecting it at the sight of an injury promotes healing? I think Trumpy's outdone himself once again.

Like you said, there are varying degrees of high ankle sprains. McKinney's seems to be of the less severe variety.

Yeah, ok. But still, can HGH have such a profound effect on damaged tissue in less than a week?

All instances I've read of HGH used to rejuvenate skin and tissue as well as promote growth in underheight children require regular injections over a period of months to have significant effect.

HGH is illegal and is not tested for in the NFL - yet.

I have no doubts it is being used - extensively.

If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying.

Some of these miraculous recoveries can only be attributed to the stuff but no one pushes the panic button because no one has died from it as far as I know plus owners have a lot of money invested
in his stable. Why rock the boat? Shhhhh..... Until someone dies from it, life goes on.

If this is being done, the risks are enormous. A drunken blabber, a pissed off assistant spilling the beans, unforseen side effects and an enormous lawsuits from players suffering deleterious effects can blow up in everyone's face. If doctors are involved, they risk loss of license, face torte liablities and possibly criminal charges. HGH is a hormone that affects the entire body. You'd think they'd be aware of Arnold Mandell.

Players will use any competitive edge they can get and HGH is no exception. Designer exotic series of this drug is being produced as well. I have no first hand knowledge other than very strong suspicions due to the nature of the beast.

Steriods did not stop players or doctors from violated umpteen codes of ethics and conduct violations as we have all seen and HGH should be viewed no differently.

I don't necessarily disagree, but a secret is only a secret if one person knows it. I hope they don't get caught until after they get a couple of trophies. Then again since it's a temporary therapeutic dose and not chronic, they'll probably get away with it. Assuming the stuff works for healing injuries and we're not just drooling idiots. Oops. Time to dry my beard.
