can fuq right off. don't know if his soundbyte has been discussed yet if so delete, youve gotta be "in" on espn.com or else id post it.

golic says what a disaster the chargers have created, he says that firing marty was a horrible idea and set us back. he rambled for minutes how pretty much idiotic our front staff was by doing so. fuq you! fat potato salad sandwiche eating m f er. why has the tide turned? why is it the last few years everything somewhat questionable we do (ala brees) is completely bashed in the media months before the season only to come back and haunt these fuqs that dont have to defend thier own sound bytes.

it use to be the opposite, we were the arizona cardinals so to speak whereas all the positive pub only made us worse. nowadays these fools feel the need to talk about us (for good reason we are the best) and they turn out completely wrong?

when is the media going to save thier breathe and say " It was questionable in my opinion, but my opinion means dyk compared to the likes of A.J. supercockextrordinaire Smith?

ive had a few so forgive this rant, i would almost prefer media wise we were back in the shadows.

The bash us in the off-season, by mid-season they're still skeptical until we "prove them wrong" then praise us late in the season like what they said during the off-season never happened.

They've done it since after the 2003 season.

    2004-
Off-season: They're the worst team in the NFL, they'll be lucky to win a game, USC could beat them etc.

Mid-Season: Oh they're going to fall apart late like they always do, they're not that good etc.

Late Season: Wow what a turnaround.

    2005-
Off-season: They were a fluke they'll return to what they were before, Brees is a 1 year wonder etc.

Mid-Season: They can't win close games, can't beat the good teams, bad coaching.

Late Season: Best team ever not to make the playoffs

    2006-
Off-season: They will fall apart with Rivers, no way will they good with Brees, they'll finish 3rd (some even had us last!) etc.

Mid-Season: They haven't beat any good teams, teams will catch up to Rivers and they'll start losing, defense isn't that good (forgetting we lost all kinds of guys) etc.

Late Season: Best team in the NFL, most talented team.

rule you are dead on, and the list goes on and on and on, it's easy to forget every detail and word said on every broadcast, but they always follow an i'm an idiot and know no better cycle.

if we start strong= they always start strong, watch em fall apart. completely forgetting what a different team we were post two years of fall apart winters.

they get into a funk and stick to what they know because that's what broadcasters are taught....run outta topic stick to what you know. thats bullshyt, i predict thanks to the internet age that teams will be forced to take on a fan spokesperson/media representitive to actually speak the mind of the true fan which they deem common. it would also reduce the need for boneheads who wore out too many helmets to sit in front of a mic. nothing worse than repetitive ignorance.

The ESPN talking heads are still trying to blame the loss of all the assistants on AJ for giving them permission to interview! Marty is the one that let the coaching staff get raided.
Retards need to do a bit more research before talking out or their asses.

Michael Smith is the only one that I have heard tell the true story.

Michael Smith is the only one I'll really listen to regarding the Chargers on ESPN. Even if he might end up wrong at least the guy does his research on the team and has a clue about what he's talking about. Apparently that's too hard to do for all the other guys.

How come when ever our coaching staff is raided, no one carries off Crosby?
