MLB Network, which will launch Jan. 1, has reached agreements with Time Warner cable nationally and DirecTV, according to a network spokesman.

The 24-hour network devoted to Major League Baseball will be on digital basic, or the equivalent, across the country, the spokeman said.

If you go to http://MLBNetwork.com you'll find a place where you can type in your zip code and find out what channel it will be on.

Channel 279 here. Comcast and DTV have picked up MLB Network locally

I'm wondering what will be more cost effective... buying ppv baseball though this channel or getting the games online.

I bought mlb.com Premium last year after having mlb.tv for several years. This year they have Premium for $10 less than last years yearly subscription, so I'll prolly go that way.

I jes saw Cammy as part of the home plate celebration when Tony scored the winning run on Moises Alou's extra base hit in the 10th inning of the 1994 All Star Game :icon_eek: :icon_sad:
