He's a man child and one hell of a player. Scott McKillop is my favorite prospect on Pittsburgh though. He is going to be one hell of a linebacker in the NFL. He's got everything. He is a white boy who will run high 4.6 and do 20 reps and he's got instincts, intangibles and a hard work ethic.

Yeah but our LB core is set for the next 5 years (inless AJ ****s up and lets Merriman leave) so right now im just looking at people we will need soon, and i dont care if we did draft 2 RBs this year, we will need to find a top flight RB in a year or two, and thats perfect cause thats when McCoy should come out

Just watching him last year, i think he was the 3rd best RB i saw the entire year (behind only McFadden and Stewart)

Problem is, if this guy keeps it up, stays healthy and packs on about 10lbs of muscle, he will be a top 5-10 pick when he comes out, oh well, i guess aj is just gonna have to weddle it up and get up there and get him!

Some people thought I was crazy for saying Pitt would challenge in the Big East, so I'm glad to see someone else sharing that opinion.....but I still like OU over Mizzou in the Big 12, though. Those two seem to be interchangeable, depending on the source you're reading, but the Sooners did hand Mizzou their only 2 losses last year. They lost a couple of key players, but OU is one of those "reload" type programs. Some people even have Texas Tech not only winning that conference, but also playing in the BCS title game. :icon_shrug:

With TT's offense anything is possible. I could have put them 1 spot ahead of Texas. Oklahoma probably has more pure size and strength but Missouri is a faster team and more intangibles... they play better as a team and have better coaching in my opinion.

    Scott McKillop

    6'0.5 237 ILB (legit measurements)

Lead the nation in tackles last year including some critical ones.

"McKillop comes from a proud family of athletes."

"In wrestling, he was a three-year letter winner as well, and, at the 215-pound weight class, took third during his junior year and seconnd in his senior year at the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association state championships." (Reinforces the fearlessness he demonstrates in attacking ballcarriers 1 on 1 and taking on blockers)

"Scott's a smart player, he's our group leader," Murray said. "If I have a question he knows my position as well as he knows his own."

"A lot of people don't see it, but he has a lot of fire to him. When he gets on the field, he's like another person. Off the field, he's calm and quiet. On the field, he's an animal once the play starts, from the time the ball is snapped to the whistle."

Scott might end up being the best senior ILB next year. From an intangibles standpoint Laurinaitis and Maualuga don't compare  Dude is like Chad Greenway except smarter with more character.
