Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Coupled with the imminent Henry suspension, that pathetic D, and the obvious growing pains of Cutler... I say the Donks are finished.

Nalen might be gone for season

Nalen is believed to have torn a biceps muscle.

    October 8, 2007
There were fears after Sunday's game center Tom Nalen will be lost for the season with an upper arm injury.

Nalen played the entirety of the Broncos' 41-3 loss despite getting hurt on the opening series. It's believed he might have torn a biceps.

Asked if he feared his season could be over, Nalen responded, "Yeah," adding, "I don't know for sure," and won't until a magnetic resonance imaging exam today.

Nalen's loss would be critical for an offensive line already missing its primary backup.

Ben Hamilton was placed on injured reserve last week with post-concussion symptoms.

If Nalen is unable to play during the final 11 games, he likely would be replaced by Chris Myers, who has filled in for Hamilton as the starting left guard.

That would then push Chris Kuper into the lineup in Myers' guard slot.

The Broncos also have center Greg Eslinger on their practice squad. He has been in the team's offensive system the last two years.

Nalen, a five-time Pro Bowl selection, has played all 16 games 10 of the past 11 seasons. He missed the final nine games of the 2002 season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

I agree... it's shameful to wish injury upon a player like that.

But it's downright awesome to applaud when a dirtbag like Nalen gets what's coming to him!!! :icon_rofl: :icon_rofl:

It's never nice to kick someone when they're down, but being mean to the Donks and the Raiduhs is a wise use of your time. Schadenfreude, where is thy sting? It's in a donkey Keister.

Nalen got hit by a brick of karma, but we should be careful lest the same happens to us.

I totally forgot about that whole thing last year.

I never want to see a player go out with an injury, but in Nalen's case, I'LL MAKE THIS ONE TIME EXCEPTION. :bolt:

Broncos are going to be recognized as the worst team in the ACF (cough) I mean AFC West by the beginning of next season. Even the man who MTL deemed the second coming of Dwight Freeney, Elvis Dumervil, cannot save them. The thing with Denver is that they have a lot of talent in certain spots while at the same time they have major holes so there is always a way to attack them as they have soft spots in their defense and weaknesses in their offense. They could really use a good safety and Al Wilson was money for them. Cutler will be an efficient QB but never great and they really need a dynamic playmaker in that offense whether that be a new age tight end or a speedy WR or a franchise RB which is a concept they no longer understand. Draft a goddamn RB.

I don't like the hear about any player being injured. This case however has karma written all over it. For a player that's made a career of purposely trying to injuring other players, to lose the rest of his season due to injury just seems like poetic justice.

**** You Nalen you piece of ****!

Exactly man. What goes around, comes around. I could just picture somebody cut blocking him while he leaves the hospital. That might sound cold, but after the injuries he's inflicted on our team over the years(Jamal, many others), you can understand. I also think when Gary Kubiak left the Donks (to coach the Texans) too that hurt them on offense like Wade leaving us for the Boys. I realize now how important Coordinators are in the scheme of things for a team.

I couldn't recall if Nalen was the guy that chopped the back of his Jamal's calf. I wont celebrate this injury, but I have zero sympathy. Karma's a b!tch.

Oh, gee..... the donkeys have lost one of their best "holders". At least they still have that Graham TE guy, who was holding on just about every play. On one play, he had such a handful of Merriman's jersey, I thought he was going to ask him for an autograph. He totally pulled Merriman off the play and Henry ran right by him for a 9 yard gain. He was eventually called for a hold on Phillips, but this guy was clutching and grabbing everything in front of him.

Pathetic how much holding Denver gets away with. This #89 guy was a one man show of grabbing and holding.

Pzss on the cheating donkeys.. And their wussy fans that went pouring out of the stadium before the 4th quarter even began.

Denver drafts a RB in the first two rounds every other year... Then they trade them.
