Where were you when the world stopped turning
    On that September day?

Did you feel guilty 'cause you're a survivor,
In a crowded room did you feel alone?
Did you go to a church and hold hands with some stranger,
Did you dust off that Bible at home?

I play this Alan Jackson song every year on 9/11, as well as watch the documentaries on the History Channel or one of the movies made about the events of that day, to commemorate the victims of the terrorist attacks. 9/11 will haunt me for the rest of my life, even though I didn't lose anyone I knew.......it's why two of my children are in the U.S. military, and why my eldest son is shipping out to Iraq tomorrow.

May God keep the victims in His peace, and please protect our troops!!

    Amen.

My prayers go out to the families of those who died that day, and the families of those who are still fighting today for our rights and our freedom. For those who are fighting overseas in battlefields both known and unknown, against an enemy that is constantly changing and adapting, all I can say is God bless you for what you do.

This thread sent shivers up my spin. I will never forget reporting to work at RDU international that day, it was a virtual ghost town and eerily quiet.

The National Gard just down the street had fully automatic machine guns set up and maned at the front gate. They also had a constant Apache helicopter in the air, very scary the next few days.

Thank God for our men and women serving this great country and to all veterans who went before. Without their sacrifice, we would not enjoy today as we have come to know it.

This picture is almost everyone in the F/A-18 Program at North Island. It was taken in our main Building. We wore the Red Shirts in support of all the troops overseas, it was also taken on this past 9-11, and we shoot a Video also where we all said "WE WILL NEVER FORGET" The guy in the Marine Corp Uniform is in the Marine Reserves and Dressed out for the Picture. We added the people on the left and right to give the group a red, white, and blue effect.
