Bummer. Wish Oakland had landed him.

Still, at least he's in the AFC.

Raiders were thinking of hiring Manusky this coming Saturday,
but Greg told them, "Hey, there's no rush."

I am so happy to hear that our lack of a pass rush was all Manusky's fault and now that he is gone we will be "all better".. He was doomed by lack of personnel from the start - hopefully he learned a lesson about bringing in old players from his last team to try to salvage "some kind of defense".

Manusky was our team's sacrificial goat. Nothing more, nothing less. (JHMO)

Thats all fine, but the problem is he used the talent we do have incorrectly, and he flat out doesn't understand how to scheme for particular teams.

Zone defense against Tom Brady? Are you fu'king kidding?:cautious: More than 10 years of game tape tells us how often that works.

Ron Rivera did more with less last year.

Changed his mind. Waiting for LeBeau to retire I bet.

Besides as the DC for a defensive minded HC (Pagano) you'd always be overlooked. Kinda like Clarence Shelmon did here.

I am not versed enough to know how to properly run a defense, and Manusky left a lot to be desired, but he was the GOAT this year. Somebody had to pay for Santino's death!

I didn't think Indy's defense could get much worse... I'm gonna have to rethink that one. Methinks Manusky could make them worse.

Wow. Just goes to show you still have some other morons running football teams. How this guy gets another DC job is beyond incredulous.

Last year the Chargers rushed 4 OR LESS men on 77.5 percent of their snaps, only 4 teams rushed less and they are all 4-3 teams.

I'm not sure how the players get blamed for that, unless you expected Garay and Martin to be a 10 sack guys.

But since Indy is in a rebuilding year(maybe for the next couple of years), there will be zero expectations on this guy. They can go 2-14 and be "who cares", we are in a rebuilding year.
