Five games in six weeks with the bye week included. Considering the competition and the week of rest it should be the easiest stretch in our schedule.

What are your expectations for our record will be in those 5 games?

    5-0
    4-1
    3-2
    2-3
    1-4
    0-5

4-1. Hate to say it, but I think we lose at Denver. This was one of my early picks for a loss.

Having said that, I hope the football gods biotch-slap me & kick the Donkeys asses, but good!!!!

I'm still optimistic. the team will fix the gamemanagement.
And in opposite to the lost game at Lambeau they have to win
again at Mile high. Houston will be stronger than expected,
but with new confidence we can atill reach 13-3.

If this is really a playoff team, we have to go 4-1 over the next five, before Indy comes to town.

KC, Denver, Oakland, Houston, Minnesota, we have no business losing to ANY of those teams based on talent.

We also have no excuses if we play unfocused and uninspired football; this makes or breaks the season.

Talent alone will not win us games.

In all seriousness we should go 5-0.

But with team leaders fighting on the sidelines, the D-coor sayng he doesn't know anything in interviews, and all of San Diego ready to march on casa Turner, things are not looking good.

Talent is one thing, but the games are won with player being prepared with good game plans and coaches making adjustments. Our O is getting better, and we have seen some individual players looking good on D. But we have not seen a defensive TEAM as of yet IMO.

I know that, Conc. I've been on this coaching staff earlier and more often than most anyone.

But I also think that we've opened with three good teams. The next few games, maybe we can jump ahead early, put less emphasis on our coaches having to adjust to the opponent.

This team is desperate for a blowout win. If we get it this Sunday, maybe we can get on a roll.

Rivers owns the Broncos and he'll prove it again. I said 4-1 BTW but I'll revise that if we beat the livin fuc out of the Chiefs. TK is right this team is desperate and ready for a blowout win. :bolt:

Rivers has faced the Bronc's twice, and he aready owns them?? WOW that was fast.

Last year I'd have said 5-0...but this year it looks like we could just as easily go 2-3...after the KC game perhaps I'll get a better read. RIght now my heart is trying to overpower my brain...and we all know that's not a good thing when it comes to sports.
We all want this team to get on a roll, but I gotta face it, I just haven't seen a performance yet this year that shows me they can.

I'm surprised by all the 5-0 and 4-1 votes. I would have thought expectations would be lower after the last few weeks. I'm thinking 3-2 might be the correct answer & I could see 2-3 happening if the wrong things happened.

My 3-2 or 2-3 guess is looking pretty good. Hell maybe that's optimistic. You can't get much worse than losing to kc at home.

I sure hope so, because after this KC game, and seeing the way the tRaiders played today...that's the only win we might get before the break.
