Since the folks from Ace Parking, the City of San Diego, and the Chargers organization do not seem to like tailgating, we will no longer officially call ourselves a tailgate organization or group. According to the money mad folks at Ace Parking, to have an "Organized Tailgating Zone" will cost us over 200 bucks and we can't even park a vehicle within that zone or it will be considered double-dipping. (Right, not counting the money that some of us have plopped down for parking passes...)
So, we will not be having an "official" tailgate, and we just need to show up individually, keeping in mind that the City and the Chargers organization, along with Ace Parking have determined that only 5 to 7 persons can have a tailgate within their respective tailgating area behind their vehicle. That being said, the opponent will be Indie and the game is our only other Monday Nighter. Ivan has determined that for his individual friends in his personal parking space, he is bringing Tri-tip with the Red Stag bourbon infusion. If anyone wants to bring their own individual food items or side items, they are welcome to post it here, and maybe some of their friends can drop by and visit and share a small portion. I will probably just bring some dessert items for myself and a couple of friends who are coming via the trolley. Just one more thing:

If you go to the KUSI website, there is a tab for the Turko Files. It might be there.

Nice to see these killjoys can multitask as they slap silly regulations on us fans while at the same time emptying our wallets at breakneck speed.

    Wonderful...

I guess you just need to have 3-4 designated vehicles to show up early enough to park side by side with 5-7 people per vehicle tailgating "individually" together. I'd volunteer to get there early but I'm in Panama.

It was the Huston fans that started the whole problem by moving the bathrooms in the parking lot. Specifically, the Travelling Texans group.

They can go Farg themselves, if I'm travelling 8000 miles to see a game that classifies me for special privileges as far as I can tell ..... ;)

Shared a bit of our plight on twitter and with another Blogger/Podcaster - he's going to spread the word about the ridiculous tailgating compliance mandates :p

I got an email for the Chargers stating that I had tickets to the game, and explained the new security measures...

What tickets do I have and where are they?

I took it a little further, and here is where we need everyone's help:

As for myself, I took the fight back to my customer service rep for my season tickets, made an official complaint to security officials that we don't have enough toilets out there in the parking lots, made a complaint to a stadium official who is now in charge of some obscure department at the stadium, and I made another attempt to get us a toilet through United Site Services who all told me that we could not even have a private rental unit out in the lot because Ace Parking is not allowing it. And the word is that Ace and the city:
    a. Need a permit to have a private unit out there in the lot. (Fees)
    b. Needs to be in a designated "tailgate zone" which is well out in the back of the parking lot, sections P-5, N-5. (Again, another fee to create this zone in which they base the size of the area according to how many people are in the group. At 5 to 7 persons per car, that's another 44 bucks per car on top of parking passes that we are already paying for.)

What we need is for everyone to make a complaint from this website, Bolttalk, any other website or blog site, or through any media outlet that you know of.

City of San Diego Stadium Office - Nadia Muhammed - 619-641-3130

Chargers Stadium Security - 619-641-3150 (Call to make official complaint that there are not enough toilets in the outer lots, fighting in lines, etc.)

    Chargers Administration - Michelle Kelley - 619-641-3107

United Site Services - 800-864-5387 Customer Service

Chargers Season Ticket Office - 619-280-2121 ( My rep is Janet Carroll, ext/5122, you may have a different rep) If you are a season ticket holder, call to complain that we don't have enough toilets out in the lots. Also mention the fighting and cutting in lines, etc. You can also send an email to JanetC@chargers.nfl.com or find out who your customer rep is and voice your concerns.

    Ace Parking Corporate Offices:
    645 Ash Street
    San Diego, CA 92101
    619-233-6624 or info@aceparking.com

Ace Parking Qualcomm Field Office - 619-285-9392 Bill Nelson (In charge of stadium lot)

Ace Parking Parking Lot Spaces - 619-318-7051 Ryan Johnson ( Person in charge of parking spaces, issuing permits and creating tailgate zones)

These are the main people, but I am sure there are more. Go farther up the chain if you can, get the attention of Chargers organizational people, whoever you know to let them know.
