Let the virtual Bolt Talk bar room arguments unfold. :icon_toast:

The question who is the fastest player in the NFL as of this moment in this scenario: Full pads & gear (screw those 40 times in spandex) the full length of an NFL regulation field.

I voted for Cromartie, but I'm admittedly biased.

I voted Hester because he's the only one on Madden that has a 100 speed rating.

I'll join that club. There is a reason KO is at the other end of the feild before the returner gets the ball......:icon_shrug:

    Voted for Cro.

    Three moments in particular:

    1. The Sproles KO return to open the first Colts game last year. Sproles is running full speed away from pursuit and approaching the end zone. Here comes Cro, loping along like a gazelle, and runs alongside Darren into the end zone. He came from at least twenty yards back to catch up, and it didn't even look like he was breaking a sweat.

    2. The longest play in NFL history. I could not believe how fast he was going down the sideline. Again, didn't look like he was half trying.

    3. The interception for the called-back TD, second Colts game. He comes up, dodges a tackle or two, then runs ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE FIELD, outrunning everybody, where he settles in behind Jammer and McCree. They put a block on Manning, and an exhausted Cro (who still had remnants of the flu, if I remember :icon_eek: ) stumbles into the end zone.

Cro is freaking fast as hell.

I'm not sure about straight speed, but I don't think anybody has a faster football speed than Cro. :flag:

    Cromartie, easy

I've never seen a guy run as fast as him especially for an extended distance. Watch most of Sproles' big returns including his KO TD, and the fake reverse return during the last game against the raiders. There's one charger with Sproles the whole time - Cromartie. especially against the raiders, Cromartie went backwards ten + yards for the fake reverse when Sproles was up at full speed. Sproles gets tackled and Cromartie's right there.

I'd love to see Cro and Hester in a dash, see what happens

I wonder if that got deleted. That one quote alone should kill anyone from taking CFX seriously ever again.

I would say Cro, but Hester is a burner as well.

I have to go with Cromartie, since it's not likely we see him head to head with Hester. He doesn't look like he's being especially pushed to outrun everyone he's been up against. He's fluid, in control and so it looks as if he is running within himself, even with all that speed. I think we've only seen flashes of how fast he actually is. I haven't seen him yet try to get by someone with a good angle on him. Gonna be interesting when it happens.

    (1) Just lopping along he caught Sproles. I agree with ya, just amazing.

    (2) He runs like a gazelle. He is going faster than he looks. Hester looks fast but I got my money on Cro.

    (3) One of the biggest, rip-off, play-off calls in football history. Weddle and Cro both got robbed!
