They're crying that the people should of gone with brees and even though brees only missed 4 passes everyone needs to recognize what team he was playing against. Jeeez no ****ing recognition. :icon_evil:

Well, the Raiders do have a better secondary than NE, but I still agree. "Oh my God, Philip Rivers?! Really?! How can this be?!" A little amateurish, I'm not a big fan of Eisen, too douche-y.

By the way, with Cutler vs. Rivers thing being overblown to favor Cutler tremendously, who wants to bet they blast Rivers for pushing Brees out of SD? There's gonna be a lot of Rivers hating coming up this week. Rivers vs. Cutler, Rivers vs. Brees, and when we play Indy, Rivers vs. their fans. The League is trying to find a bad guy to promote. I can't believe it's gonna be him.

My 4 year old throws a tighter spiral than Rivers. Half his passes last week looked like wounded ducks.

I guess he's tough, but who cares. I'd rather not have my QB sticking his neck out to prove how bad *** he is. I'd rather he not get hit and just throw the ball.

If the wind is howling @ Buffalo and @ Pittsburgh then he could have some passing issues.

He still picked the Pats apart, though.

I can throw a nice spiral, doesn't mean I'd be a good NFL QB.

Nope, and Rivers won't either at the END of the season. It doesn't matter whose in the lead 45 meters into the 100. Lets see where he stands on Christmas day.....

...oh, and he's only leading because Brady is out.....seems he's making a living off Brady's injury this year.:icon_tease:

I beg to differ, there is a very good chance Rivers will still be at (or very near) the top of the QB ratings at the end of the season. The protection is improving, he has talented receivers to throw to and the Chargers have 5 of their last 8 games at home in sunny San Diego. (Got snowshoes?...not me pal!)

Oh, by the way...who is this Brady person you speak of?

    Go Chargers!!!

I don't care if they sucked, I thought it was cool they were on our team, well maybe not starting, but playing here. You and your brother playing for the team you grew up rooting for, how sick is that? I guess I could ask Brian and Marcus Giles, or Adrian and Edgar Gonzales.

My only point was that a great spiral doesn't necessarily equal success.

The only way to judge a QB is whether or not the ball goes successfully from point A to point B, and not to points C, D or E and how often it gets there. The odds of getting that job done are higher with Rivers than with anyone else. Case closed. My most rewarding romantic encounter was not the most attractive woman I ever encountered. The least rewarding was the most attractive.

Then, I don't like your odds........

When I saw the weather in Buffalo I thought he was all set. He came unglued, and I don't know why. He just didn't protect the ball, not at all.

Going to London for a game is such a bad idea right now. That has to be the NFL conspiring against the Chargers.
