You really only need to watch the second half, unless you crave the rollercoaster nature of such a game.

There are some Titan fans on their forum who actually think that FG was good that they missed and the refs made a mistake. One guy said he went back and watched it 4 times

I thought it was an obvious miss the first time i saw it in real time. Funny how we see things differently.

Tell them to turn off the banjo music and put down the moonshine.

    He missed it.

Eh, as a pity thing, give him that figgie. It's not like the Chargers won by only a point or two, and it still means that this is the second straight home game where the defense held the opposing team without a TD.

I haven't even bothered reading over there. After the last time we beat them, they took whining to a whole new level. I figure they are babbling about anything and everything there right now.

The bottom line is that the Titans have no offense.

I bet they're whining either that Vince Young didn't take off and run more in the second half, or why Fisher didn't start Collins.

Nah .... they don't whine to question their own players or coach.

They'll probably be whining about the Haynesworth personal foul, or the second effort LT touchdown.

Whining about a figgie is weird, unless they just needed that to cover the spread on their bets.

considering how much they made about Chambers' catch I'm sure they have some wanna-be 9-11 conspiracy nuts out there to prove that LT never crossed the threshold and scored.

I finally went over there and read their garbage.

They did whine about LT's TD, saying his forward progress was stopped and it shouldn't have counted. Yet, they have another thread dedicated to fullback Hall, and his great second effort on that third and one to pick up the first down. Both plays are the same. Neither runner was wrapped up and taken to the ground, or "controlled" in the grasp by a defender. Both still had opportunities to pick up extra yards, and both did so.

The LT play was correctly called. It was a touchdown.

You know when I saw the replay of LT's touchdown, I wasn't so damn sure he didn't break the plane the first time anyway.

From the TV angle it looked like it might have been a good FG. Problem is that you can't get a real good perspective from the TV angle.

Since I was at the game the field goal attempt that the Titans failed at had a curve and down affect to the try. The football came down just before and short of the uprights where the the crossbar is. It was right at the L shape in between the connection of the uprights. Fans on the other end of the stadium thought that the field goal try was good but it was clearly just short of the upright and to my perspective to the right as well, but from the kickers it would be from his left.

I have probably confused more people than helped.

I can clarify more if needed.

Don't the refs set up right under the goal posts? Seems they would have a better view than anyone. It was close but it didn't look good to me on TV.
