You know this was what my theory was months ago. Calvin Johnson and LaRon Landry arnt as far out of our reach as most people think.

But, isn't this what we have been saying for the last couple of months. Also, isn't this the same info in the Trotter article?

Im not saying I believe in the draft-value chart, but insofar as the rest of the league does, I would say us moving up to grab a franchise player in return for 2 late 1st round picks is highly unlikey.

THE TEAM that would come out like a bandit would be the team that got all the draft picks from the desperate team trading up.

this all depends on us trading turner for at least a first rounder and if the posteuring is to be believed the chances of that look slim

I dunno, I think AJ's got it quiet because he doenst want to show his hand, but thats just me.
I think we'll get a 1st rounder for Turner even if it means packaging him with a 2nd day pick.

I would package Turner for a number one, and I'd throw in one of our number 3's if the pick was high enough and the other team was also willing to swap second rounders with us. If the pick was lower than the tenth, I'd simply ask for the number one and the second round swap and keep both our third rounders. Moving up in both rounds makes sense in view of the Chargers limited real needs. Three choices in the first and early part of the second rounds would be a very strong draft, especially with another third in hand and an extra fifth.

Keep in mind what happened with Shelli.

Now listen here, pilgrim, AJ is the second coming of John Wayne.

I would wait until the end of the first day when Tenessee selects Laundry and then gives us Laundry for Turner, with next years first or second or this years second or third.

I know what happened with Shelli, but you cant be scared to trade up and get who you need. I think Calvin Johnson is as close to a sure thing as theres ever been in the draft.

Can you imagine an LT/Gates/Johnson/Jackson combination? WoW!:abq2:

I still say improve the right tackle on the o-line with a possible 3rd round pick and the all the wr's we have now will look like calvin cause Rivers will have much more time to set up and throw.

I love the idea of Calvin but I don't know if AJ will go after him since he as well as two other prospects admitted to smoking pot. not a big deal but we know that AJ takes character into consideration when adding to the team.

Sorry to not have worded it right. I didn't mean that A.j. would use a 1st rounder for a right tackle. Just that the passing offense would be so much better if it had a much better right tackle.

Calvin will be good but consdering the chargers can land a good wr in the 2nd round I'd rather keep all our draft picks to make other parts of the chargers more solid. Just my opinion. :bolt:

    yes, yes, yes..........

Forget trying to trade up. The more draft picks the better the chance of landing solid players. We need to keep building our O-line.

If we get just "that" much better, LT runs for 2k,

we walk through the playoffs and give him the Lombardi he deserves

That might have been true in the past. But we have so many players locked up, and great depth. There aren't that many open slots for new players.

Now is the time that this team can afford to go quality over quantity.

I agree except for the depth part.

besides, there is only one ball, we already have all the skill we need.

maybe a wr that can fly but only if he's already established.

Otherwise forget it, I don't want some hot **** rookie TO wanna-be in here trying to impress.

Well I agreed with your "build the O-line" part.

We should blow out the entire right side of the O-Line.

Shane Olivea is a fukkking POS and Goff is slower than constipation.

Put both of those fags as depth and get us some real players.

yeah, that's I meant to say!!

Why can't we get LT the all time single season rushing record to go along with his TD record

that's what I'm fugging talkin about!!!

    Agreed.

LT deserves better and not hand me downs for fat boys paving the way.

And one wonders why we don't run more screens ? These fat assses are too slow to get it on.

When I got most of the yard work completed, I could come out to play and not any sooner. I still have a shitload to complete so the timing is right to kick some asss on the yard (.28 acre). It is a larger lot for California and allows me to swing naked through the dense underbrush and trees like fuggin' Tarzan of the Apes.
