    SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Michael Robinson admits it wasn't easy giving up his dream of playing quarterback in the NFL. Maybe it helps that his transition to running back is going very smoothly.

    Robinson ran for two touchdowns in the second quarter to help the San Francisco 49ers end the preseason with a 23-14 victory Friday night over a San Diego Chargers team still searching for a backup quarterback.</blockquote>
