It was a point that was emphasized during the offseason and an area that has played out pretty well for the Chargers this season.

"The number-one thing that you have to do in order to be successful in the National Football League is to win your games at home," Head Coach Marty Schottenheimer said."  "We've played pretty well at home to this point, but it is imperative that we keep that up."

The Chargers begin what appears to be a crucial portion of their schedule this week when they host the St. Louis Rams."  They'll have back-to-back home games for the first time this season before traveling to AFC North-leading Cincinnati and AFC West-leading Denver.</blockquote>
