In non-Broncos news, the Rams lost Bradford for the year (and possibly not coming back to St. Louis) so their season is over for all intents and purposes. I wonder what they would want for Rodger Saffold (or Chris Long), we could offer them a (very) lightly used Brandon Taylor :whistling:.

If they keep playing against backup QBs I don't see why not.

I am not convinced of this, watching KC struggle with a the Texans undrafted QB, and Donks with a team that will win its division, I am "buying in" on the long season scenario. Not that I fully believe the Chargers, I think Philip Rivers is the reason this team had any this season. For example, if Whitehurst was QB against KC, the game wouldnt be as close as the Texans kept it today, they have more play makers.

Sam Bradford out for season with ACL.

Maybe we could trade them Whitehurst for a pass rusher!:p

I think they'd have won with CBJ honestly, Houston had the ball 4 times in the 4th in just a 1 point game. The kid Keenum was scared to release the ball, and he had guys running open all over the field. He took a few inexcusable sacks to seal it for KC....they got lucky, again, today.

More than that, their defensive attack is scary... I am worried for PR17 when we face them especially if our OL doesn't solidify more.

Texans absolutely handed the game to KC at the end of the 4th quarter with lame play calling and even lamer protection schemes for their rookie QB.

I am not sure you can lay everything on the Texans, the Chiefs dialed the attack up at the end, I dont know if the Texans OL was gassed or what but they were slow off the ball and to react...

Yes. It was not a shinning weekend for any officiating crew that I saw...

Was nice to be on the right side of that coin flip though for once.

I never actually thought about who they'd played, but looking at that doesn't impress me at all. There's what, like 7 or 8 combined wins between all those teams?

    It's actually 12: Ravens-3; Giants-0 (coming into MNF); Raiders-2; Eagles-3; Cowboys-4; Jags-0

To your point, none of these guys will be confused with Super Bowl contenders anytime soon. Not even the Ravens.

Denver's defense can be had, of course we're the pot calling the kettle black on that one...

Peyton's numbers, though, were still unbelievable, though, regardless of the competition...

but, yes, as far as W-L, the list of teams the Broncos have beat is an unimpressive list.

    In tonight's game:

    A) I find it hard to believe the Vikes are starting a QB (Freeman ) so new to the club
(it's a lot harder than plugging in a new running back), and

    B) Speaking of running backs, can it really be that Adrian Peterson has 2 carries 2o:30 into the game?
(I know his health isn't 100%, but who is, Week 7? forcing newbie Freeman to try to carry a new offense???)

p.s.: Jared Allen just made one of the best sacks I've ever seen...on Eli, a minute before the half...

Yes you did. They have become desperate on that line...and still they manage to score 30 points every week.

When you have Peyton Manning efficiently slinging the ball around to 3 WRs and a TE who all look Pro Bowl worthy at this point in the season, having a shoddy o-line is a bit of an afterthought.

And what the Colts did was press those receivers and force Peyton to either wait for them to get open, or to make a perfect throw. It wasn't a flawless plan, but I think the blue print is there now.
