We talking drunk or that he got dropped on his arse by these bouncers at a Club, Bar etc ?

There is no doubt in my mind that this kid is gonna fall wayyyyyyyyyyyy short of expectations, said it at the start of last season and have seen or heard nothing to change that opinion.

Yup, pretty much that! It's a term phrased from those fake "wrestling" shows. Not a good thing to end up on that site as it is where peep talk sheeet about other peep.

You and I have been in agreement on Rygina for quite a while now. Nuff said!

I see no reason to disbelieve the story .............. couldnt think of ONE single reason why anyone would post such a story about a rather irrelevant athlete, if there wasnt some element of truth to it.

Yeah, hate to say it, but its past the point of simple coincidence that this kid lacks maturity on every level...............spends offseason stuck in front of a TV playing video games, came into a season totally out of shape, still hasnt learnt game plans, injuried every time he takes a decent lick, all these things cant be disissed as simple "bad luck".

If I was GM he'd be a player I'd be moving in the off-season while he still has some trade value, he'll be worthless after this season.

Um...because d-bags do stuff like this all the time? Maybe the dude's just jealous of someone
richer and more successful than himself. Maybe he wants attention. Both are common as Hell.
Who knows? But at the end of the day, with zero evidence, why should anyone take it seriously?

"...the elementary rules of logic, that extraordinary claims
require extraordinary evidence and that what can be asserted
without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence."

In a manner of speaking...... Windows 8 tried to do an update and the Skyrim launcher was damaged. In my brief time using the Microsoft OS, I can confidently say that they make :poop: products. ;)

Yeah, we wouldn't want to base our judgment on hearsay........ ;)

Tom Telesco wants to draw his own conclusions on Jared Gaither
Posted by Josh Alper on February 22, 2013, 11:03 AM EST
Left tackle Jared Gaither had a miserable 2012 season.
A back injury before the season kept him sidelined for training camp and the preseason schedule. He made his season debut in Week Four, but hurt his groin in the next game and was done for the year after Week Nine. That added up to just four games played for Gaither and the Chargers struggled mightily at the position for the rest of the year.
As Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune recounts, Gaither’s recovery pace from both injuries led to questions about his commitment. It’s not the first time those questions have been asked about Gaither and new General Manager Tom Telesco has heard the talk about the tackle’s shortcomings in that area. He’s not willing to rely on hearsay before making a call on Gaither’s future with the Chargers, though.
“I want to talk to him,” Telesco said. “I can’t make any decisions based on what people have told me. It’s a new regime. I’ve got to get to know everybody. I’ll take opinions from everybody. In the end, it’s our decisions. Will he be back for training camp? I don’t know. I’ve barely talked to him. We have a lot of work to do.”
Gaither would count $6 million against the cap if released compared to $6.5 million if he sticks around, so there’s only a limited cap benefit toward moving on from a player who signed a four-year deal before last season. They’d obviously prefer to use that space on a player who can help the team, but there’s not much point trying to fit a square peg into a round hole if that’s what the Chargers decide Gaither represents to their roster.

The facts that these "unfounded statements" even exist is sometimes all that is necessary in todays world Lance, admit it.

Happens far more than not these days that these unsubstantiated reports turn out to be the beginning of something much bigger, time will tell, but as I simply stated, the guys history thus far, does little in my mind to think this isn't at all a possibility.

Again, time will tell, so lets just sit back and play the "wait and see" game ............................doesn't change my personal belief that we should move the guy on though, said the same thing as the season ended, kid's been overated by our past regime in my opinion.

Read this just before hitting the sack last night .................... Fair call by the new guys, I wouldn't have expected anything less to be honest and they SHOULD see for themselves what he is all about.

Doesn't mean I think he should be back in any way, shape or form, but they do need to do their due diligence on the big creampuff if they are doing their job correctly.

The first comment on the article is a good one........

The really sad thing about Gaither, is that if he had the drive to match his natural ability, he'd be the best LT in the NFL. I don't think that's an exaggeration. 6'9" with long arms and surprisingly fast, he'd be dominant if he had the desire to be great. It's such a waste.

Lance, it is entirely possible that someone has an ax to grind. However, about 12 years ago when I was in my high 30's and used to frequent clubs downtown, after my "newly found" freedom, I used to bump into a few ball players (NFL & MLB) Once while at On Broadway (at their newly opened VIP section) I witnessed an incident with Marshall Faulk. He was basically acting like an arse and was hitting on many random girls who were sitting with other fellows at their private booths. I remember that an argument ensued with some guys who started getting hostile toward Marshall's behavior, drinks were thrown and bouncers rushed in to protect him and ushered him away. Faulk was always spoken of very highly when he was both with Indy & the Rams, but he did have quite a "reputation" when he was at SDSU. I witnessed first hand that he was the instigator and was not taking rejection too well by some female patrons, who happened to be with other guys. Money and fame is all dandy et al, but when as a man who happens to be both famous and iconic, if he resorts to physically pulling onto females at a club, well, that is really WEAK GAME and indicated very low values. Females run away from that!

Now we all believe what we want to believe. I didn't write that piece about Ryno, I have never bumped into Ryno and I do not have an ax to grind against Ryno on a personal level. I have a 24 YO Son who happens to be Ryno's age and I do know about some 24 YOs being less mature than other 24 YO's ;) I would not even dare to compare Ryno to Faulk, as Marshall at least had a real "NFL game" to back up his "rumored" shenanigans :D

Jack and I tend to believe such "stories" about Ryno with more prejudice than you, based on his "evident" level of immaturity. Let us just say that Ryno as Pro RB is more fluff than substance, despite his enormous talent level and latent potential. For the sake of us Charger fans, let us just hope that the new regime can tap into this Guy's potential and rescue him from his foolish immature self!

Oh no doubt at all BLEW....... But unfortunately being born with natural ability and all the tools necessary doesn't guarantee a damn thing if the individual doesn't have the heart or desire, he might as well have be born a retard, with the mental capacity of a 5 year old.

Great height, great speed, long arms ....... He's been blessed .......... To bad the man upstairs forgot about giving the Big Softee a fargin' heart though
