Soft serve has been an issue with this team..... first McNeill, then Gaither..... not to mention Mr. Softee himself.

I had no doubt about it, not because of the seeming mishandling of the investigation, not because of his fame, congeniality, his disability and empathy factors, not because of his financial ability to hire a solid legal team, but merely based on your zealous pontification, as only you can do :roflmao:

Basketball has never been my sport. I'm too short for it, can't jump high enough, run fast enough or dribble in any nimble fashion. "They" can have it ;)

P.S. Unless you meant "cheerleading"? :roflmao:

That site preys on the vulnerable, often stupid and the defenseless who float their personal stuff all over social media such as, FB, Twitter & Instagram. It does serve a purpose although in a sorta of a sleazy wa .

If anyone has good attorneys on the retainer, then usually a stern atty shot off the bow will get them think, "Hmmm, this may not be worth our while to litigate over" I have also seen stories pulled down and then reappear at a later date. Maybe it was The Dean who decided to protect his "investment" from sordid publicity this time around ;)

Well, if you think that entirely unsubstantiated rumors have truth in them "far more than not"
then I'll tell you the same thing I told the guy who was trying to convince me that Sandy Hook
was a hoax, perpetuated by the Freemasons, and what he called the "Pedo/Satanists":
We probably look at the world very differently. As a logic buff & regular reader of Snopes.com, it's hard
not to notice that the vast, vast majority of internet stuff they investigate turns out to be made up.
As Hitchens so beautifully said (and no, I have no idea what point Blewy was trying to make, re-posting
that with an entirely unrelated Gaither story) if someone dumps a turd in your lap, with zero evidence,
then it's worth zero time on your part to refute. I don't know what you mean by "all that is necessary."
If you mean that any baseless trash talk is enough to intrigue some people...well, yeah.
Some people don't have a life. No one that I hang with would waste much time on something
that there was no reason to believe. What does your opinion that Mathews was overrated have
to do with it? So now you'll believe anything negative some loser makes up? That surprises and
    disappoints me.

See, to me, the Ryno part of it wasn't much of a factor. If it had been about a 60 year-old, or someone 20,
Republican, Democrat, black or white my reaction is essentially the same.
"Wow! That's quite a story! Is that true?" If the answer is "Well, there's not a shred of evidence" then
I'm done. If there IS evidence later, then I'll look more closely and decide what I think. Who has
time to pontificate on every random allegation people pump onto the web?
For God's sake, in a world where there's more b.s. than fact, why would I believe some
random comment? While an 'axe to grind' is a possibility, I think it's much liklier that someone
just thought they'd like some attention...or as we call that in 2013: "The internet."

I happen to like Ryno...but I'd have the exact same position if it were a player I didn't like.
It's just a world view that consistently asks: "Is that credible? Is there any reason to believe that?"

I hear you Lance and the evidence based logic versus rumor mill gossip is valid, but why would it not be credible? Why no reason not to believe it? The kid is an NFL baller and has the money and the free time to go out to clubs & bar scenes during off season to have a jolly good time.

I brought up the Faulk story because this was something I witnessed with my own eyes. Faulk was a highly respected ball player, but he also had a D-Bag reputation here in San Diego, all the way back to his college days. Collin Kappy is apparently all over the social media liaising with all sort of escorts and hookers who contacts him! Why be shocked and surprised? These are single, hot blooded, famous, young and rich kids who happen to be premier athletes too. There are many women in those scenes who want to hitch their trailers onto these guys' Rolls Royce's, Ferrari's or whatever the eff is that they drive in (Rygina had a BMW M5 or was it an M6?)

I am skeptical about whether Rygina was 86'ed and dropped on his arse by some bouncers, but I can absolutely believe whether or not he was in a club in Zona, doing whatever it is that made him ruffle some feathers. Why not?
I remember that once in the past, I slighted Rygina and you came to his defense at that time too. You happen to like him and I used to like him, but no more. To me, he rub on Rygina is his inability to stay healthy, his lack of concentration, his abysmal ball protection techniques and his feeble pass protection abilities. These are all evidence based and nothing conjured up. A talented player who was a reach by an over reaching ex-GM and a player who underachieves with respect to his talent repertoire. I really couldn't care less if he bangs club chicks, 3 at a time, like Kappy does, as long as he can stay healthy on the field and do his job. If you wanna play hard, then darn make sure that you work hard too ;)

    That's fair ....

So The Boil is innocent, right ?

All those allegations years and years ago were utter bullshit, just like he said a million times, by peeps with an axe, machete and a Ginsu knife set to grind......? Those lowdown Bastage's, fancy trying to take down the great man like that with lie upon lie.

farg those peeps anyway, its not like they were making a difference in the world like Lance ofcourse.

The evidence is in the statement Lance ......... Just because its posted by someone other than a reputable news source, doesn't mean it can't be true and has much chance of being correct as it does of being incorrect in today's climate.

I seriously doubt that any "reputable news journo" is hanging out at a local Fresno Club and able to write a column about such an occurrence anyway Lance, therefore many of today's "blotter stories" do come to light because of a nobodies willingness to post on the Net, so maybe you should start paying them a little more attention if you don't want to look foolish when the shite does hit the fan a few weeks or months down the line, mate !!!! ;)
