Martin remains a bit of a mystery to me. The guy had the size, strength, intelligence, and athletic ability to be a good football player, but somehow he never really put it all together. It wasn't a lack of work ethic either..... it's a puzzler, really.

Broncos may have trouble filling Dumervil's shoes.......

Dwight Freeney looking for more than Osi Umenyiora’s deal with Falcons
Posted by Curtis Crabtree on March 29, 2013, 12:17 AM EDT
Dwight Freeney has an idea about what the value of his next contract should look like and he’s more than willing to bide his time in hopes of getting it.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Freeney is looking for more than the contract Osi Umenyiora signed with the Atlanta Falcons earlier this week. Umenyiora’s deal is worth $8.5 million over the next two seasons. Freeney is reportedly seeking a contract in the neighborhood of $6 million a season.
Per Rapoport, Freeney is willing to wait out the market in hopes of getting the type of deal he is looking for. In addition to discussions with the Denver Broncos, Freeney is also interested in the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins.
The market for pass rushers this season has been grossly less than many expected. Freeney could find the deal he is searching for by waiting in hopes of an injury sparking a team to team to become desperate or more teams showing interest to drive up the price. Freeney could also see any market he has completely evaporate as teams fill their rosters and run out of room under the salary cap.
Freeney may have to wait until after the draft or even into training camp to find the deal he wants, if it’s coming at all. He may need to be prepared to wait quite a while still in hopes of getting it.

Arsewipe! I'm in San Marcos and he's (I believe) in San Carlos. It's like saying you are in Gee Long and Bruce is in Dee Long. Not the same places! Capiche?!

I assume you meant MacBook Air? ;)

It all depends on what you think her needs are, and what you can afford to spend. The MacBook Air is cheaper and more portable, but the MacBook Pro has more storage, an optical drive, and more connections. There's even the retina version of the Pro, if you're feeling particularly generous.

If portability is the chief thing, than the Air is the better choice, but if you want something more akin to a workhorse computer, than the Pro is probably the better value overall. But, depending on which version you get, the differences aren't that great.

The Air does have flash storage, but it's only 64GB in the lower end model, and 128GB in the mid-priced model (11" screen). The 13" Air does have a 256GB SSD, but it's $1,399.

Personally, working on a 27" iMac makes all those laptop screens look rather small. Now, with the iPad, the smaller screen doesn't both me, since I hold it closer, and the screen is a retina display.

I guess the first thing you need to figure out is just how much you can afford to spend. From there, it will be easier to narrow down your options.

Thank you very much for the great points. I think it'll be a basic 13 inch recon'd MacBook Pro (no retina) I want her to use it thru college. Thanks again :)

OK, if it's for the long haul, then storage space and connections are more important than portability. Apple refurbs are a great deal.

Portability is nice, but utility and functionality for future college endeavors, are more important. I can save about $180 on a base model recon'd directly from Apple

Maybe its as simple as this ...................... He's just nothing but an very average NFL Football player.

Has been known to happen from time to time you do realize. ;)

When it comes to many of the Charger players obtained over the last 7 or so years, we've had so many of these type players given far to much leeway to prove themselves and at a considerable cost cap-wise also, now after the majority of these "projects" have failed to pan out in any way, shape or form, we are left with what is basically, a shell of a team.

As Ive been saying for quite some time .................... be prepared for a few years of bottom dwelling, if you think "mediocracy" has been our MO of late, expect that to drop a rung or 3 in the near future.

Now with said ...........................have a pleasant day !!!!!

Bullshit ................. it can't be a coincidence that both of you both live in towns that begin with "San" ................ and end in Mexican names.

Admit it you bastard, you got into the Country the same way as Gooey, didn't you !!!!!!

Hell, were probably on the same chain-gang, tunnel digging team I bet !!!!

By the way .................... who the farg is this "Bruce" you speak of ?
