Yep, we're in the lean years....... gonna take at least another year of smart drafting and player acquisition/development to pull out of this mess.

Agree with the too much money BLEW, but Id stack him up against any on our team currently, as far as production goes.

Age is relevant to many, but not all, he still looked in pretty damn good shape to me last year in the games I seen of the Colts.......

still had that quick first step at the snap, something we haven't seen out of one of our own OLBs since Joo Joo Boy was totally juiced to the Max. ;)

We don't have a lot of options, but we also don't have much cap space....... he'll have to lower his asking price, regardless.

Mate, I do believe the Deccan Chargers took a dump and were last seen hurtling down the S-bend of what is IPL ..... They don't even televise that sideshow here anymore, the honeymoon with that scam lasted as long as a Kim CarDashboard marriage. ;)

It could be that as well, but football players are notorious for having atrocious form when it comes to any other lift besides the bench press (how is that a better test of strength than a squat?). The oft injured football players seem to have little hamstring development and stronger quads, which causes ligament tears in the knee (crappy form equals larger chance of injury).

You're the one that was always critical of the S&C and medical staff. Are you now defending them?

Just because they're paid huge bucks doesn't mean jack sheet ;)

Just like the amount of money that someone is paid doesn't mean that they're good at what they do... :whistling:

True that... but the Sunrisers have risen up to take their place... (and some 20 odd player contracts from the Chargers). Kumar Sangakkara remains the captain... so I would think they are still my IPL team.

Fark! That forced me to rework the entire sig. Thanks for letting me know.

No, you're correct as far as me being critcial of the "entire Charger football staff", we've being having injury issues year after year for half a decade now, so its well past the "just sheer bad luck" stage as far as Im concerned.

I can't say I've seen any of the other 31 teams suffer as many constant injuries as we have over that time, so therefore I put much of that down to an incompetent medical, strength/conditioning staff, that continues to hinder the teams ability to stay on the park and perform.

I personally think these "sports scientist" types, that have infiltrated every major professional sport in the world it seems, are having far to much say in how things are run these days. These people scare me a little in that they are all about "pushing the envelope" and seem to think the players are nothing but experimental guinea pigs.

Im sure their are some that are very honourable and brilliant in their field, who do have the players best interest at heart, but unfortunately like most things, there is always that fringe element that have nothing but their own agenda, front and centre.

I was referring to the "Charger staff" ONLY Stanly .............. well obviously if youve paid any attention at all over the years, no one has been more critical of why a guy like Chao is still employed by us.

That prick could be paid 2c and he still would be overpaid in my mind.
