"I'm not afraid to say that he was an immature, unrealistic scumbag," Cleeland said. "When it came down to it, he had no personality, he was a locker-room cancer, and he just wanted to fight everybody all the time. It was bizarre beyond belief."

Guess I'm forced to root for She-li today…

Who would've thought in August that the Raiders would
be favored over the Giants by a full 7 (!) in New York?!?

    Go Chargers!!

[EDIT: I mis-read "-7" as "7"…now the world makes sense, again]

NY Giants -7 means the Gnats are favored by 7 ;)

Ha-ha! Guess I've got to increase the font size!
You know, when I saw "7" I did a double take, didn't think that could be right…
    so I thought I increased the font size to check it…guess I didn't. :p

Oh well, I'd rather I mis-read a web-page, than that the real odds
would be so different from what I expected. Thanks Corpsie.

I stand by the "Go Chargers!!" part. :)

P.S. We'll just have to meet up at the next gathering... Couldn't have made it today cuz didn't have tickets and didn't want just to tailgate and get back home to watch the game! Plus, seeing Joke Frostie once in every four years is plenty enough :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Coaches aren't helping him out any either - not putting him in a position that works to his strengths at all. So frustrating...

Well that's understandable. It's difficult to man the fry station while wearing shoulder pads and a helmet.

That's game - Denver's offense is teflon when it comes to zebras - no penalties - NFL should investigate but they won't.

They fought hard, but the talent gap was glaring. Our secondary against that Denver offense wasn't a fair fight.

I'm dyed in the blue, Charger fan, so any loss hurts.

But, I've got to be fair: this loss is a stroll in the park compared to Washington & Tennessee…
(two games for which I've aggressively criticized lousy decision-making of this coaching staff…who stupidly put Chargers at 4-5 instead of 6-3)

The Chargers were playing a clearly superior team…and were the first (of 9 teams) to keep the Broncos under 30.
(Hell, these guys were averaging 43 points a game!!). Broncs were favored by 7 and won by 8. Meh.

People can complain about scheme all day long, but at the end of the day Pagano just doesn't have the horses.
Keeping Denver 15 points below their average is as close to a win as the Chargers would get today.

I was furious about Tennessee…and Washington was even worse…unacceptable choices, sabotaging "won" games…
this Sunday the loss sucks, but it was expected, likely, and didn't happen because McCoy & Whizzer pulled
the win away from the players.
I'm already over this one. And I think the Chargers can beat the Chiefs. :)

Great meeting Pumpkin, and Gooey today... Though Gooey made the mistake of standing between me and the food.

Woulda loved to have met that photocropin basitge Blewey.... But from all accounts he is a recluse.

Exactly BLEW, I'm quite satisfied with that performance now that I've had more time to mull it over.

If you'd have told me we'd keep Welker to 3 catches and 21 yards I'd have laughed you out of the stadium.

The guys tried their butts off, we just don't have enough talent to take advantage of opponents let offs at this stage and that shouldn't be surprising when you consider the amount of 3rd stringers we have out there getting significant playing time.....

Looks like it could well be the end for King Dunlap, surely another concussion puts him out for the year, if not forever and English, McClain and Hardwick all injuried, not that the first 2 will even be missed so miserly has their contribution been anyway.

To only go down by 8 and still be in the game very late in the 4th was a pretty darn good effort taking everything into account.

Hey, it isn't like we have a Tony Romo going for 12 yds in a half now, is it !!!! :roflmao:

A loss is a loss Jack. The only sport where they give points for artistic merit is figure skating. Ringo would know better how that works.

Still think the play calling is suspect Lancelot! again we went away from Rhino early in the first for no apparent reason and played McClain and Ronnie Brown for significant minutes for pretty much zero gain.

Forget that his early run "didn't count" on the stat sheet, that was Rhino's best run as a Charger, bar none, hell, even had me jumping out of my seat.

And have no idea why you punt the ball away with 3.39 left in the 4th when your down by 8 ......... Put the onus on the players to try and win the game at that stage I say ........ if it fails, so what, your losing anyway at that stage by giving a guy as good as Manning the ball back.

And seriously, if we can't find anything better than Cox and Wright to play CB's, then we really are in deep shite, neither of those 2 have any future as starters in this league, they are total duds, that attempt to tackle on the sideline by Cox on the 1st TD was Scare-Cro-like, fargin' disgraceful, bench his arse.

No doubt SandyBob and it's exactly what I was expecting today! but there are ways to lose nobley and today fell into that category as far as I'm concerned.

And anyway, today was all about those TI-CATS wasn't it ? :D

Gooooooooooo you little Bewdy's, we'll take that win today and continue on our merry way, thank you very much.

Wasn`t Nobley the one playing Silly Point for Wankershire in county cricket? The name sounds familiar.

The OT was a thing of beauty. The only bright spot today as my Lions suffered a crushing defeat at Skatch.

Damn !!!!, Jake Locker had himself a day I see, before being benched ....... 24 yds and an INT, I thought "#16" had made a comeback.

Would 40 1st downs qualify you as an "Offensive Juggernaut" ???????? :whistling:

Jerrah must be feeling sooooo proud again tonight......

Jack, most games, and all coaches, have some questionable calls…ripe for second guessing.
(I thought Mathews might've gotten nicked up on that amazing early run…so I didn't complain about Brown coming in)

The punt? That could go either way. Given that the Chargers had stopped the league's most powerful
offense the preceding FOUR drives, yeah that seems like a decent option compared to a single chance
to complete a 4th down pass of over 16 yards. Debatable sure…but I was good with that.

None of these is even in the ballpark with the Tennessee turtling , or much worse, not sending
Mathews over the top on first & goal from the 1/2 yard line in Washington.

Today's decisions were okay…at very worst, slightly bad.
Tennessee & Washington were worse than any forfeited games in recent memory…horrific…
and that's two of McCoy's first eight!

You're probably thinking of Knobby Neddy Nutsack who specialized at backward square leg for Wankershire during the Second World War ........ His low hanging sack saved many "a sweep to the pickets" from going for 4 runs mate. ;)

I seen where they gave up a 13 point last Q to the Roughrider Condoms ...... OUCH !!!!

Get on the TI-CATS mate ........ This could be their year.
