Heard the news at work last night, I hoped it was another hoax. Whether it was his comedy or dramatic roles, the man could move you to tears. I doubt we'll ever see another improve artist of his caliber ever again.

Friends have been in touch of late, unbelievable situation yet again, you just never expect it to happen in your own (old) backyard though.

I have a few friends from my Zoo days who live along Florissant, just North of 270 X Man .................I cant believe what I've been reading over the last few days, just bad getting worse it seems.

They need to get some news out to the public as to what happened here, ASAP, or else they are gong to have another Rodney King uprising on their hands shortly, in 22 years you'd like to think we'd progressed a little, but sometimes you have to wonder....... :(

    Ummmmmm, blocking ???

Hell, even Norf got that much right in regards to Ryno's inability to decipher that skill ......
No existent is the nicest thing you could say about it ...... That's why it's imperative he run the ball well at all times, he brings no other skill set to the position unfortunately.

Makes sense though BLEW ................ as much as I hate to admit it, but we're in that age group now where it's only going to become more frequent unfortuantely.

I dread the day when someone 50 years down the road makes the same statements as you and Blew Balls did, about great venerable performers named Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus :roflmao:

While on the subject of Robin William's apparent suicide, I must dutifully report the utterances of that great stinking pile of swine feces, Mr. Rushbo Limbaugh, straight from the depth of his arse:

"...The leftist attitude is "one of pessimism and darkness, sadness -- they're never happy, are they?" Limbaugh said on Tuesday's broadcast of his radio show. "They're always angry about something. No matter what they get they're always angry."

Limbaugh cited a Fox News story that said Williams killed himself because he was embarrassed to take TV roles and parts in movie sequels, but had to do it because of financial troubles.

"He had it all but he had nothing. Made everybody else laugh but was miserable inside," Limbaugh said. "I mean it fits a certain picture or a certain image that the left has. Talk about low expectations and general unhappiness and so forth."

Limbaugh also read a newspaper report that said Williams felt guilt over surviving the deaths of his friends Christopher Reeve, John Belushi and Andy Kaufman.

"He could never get over the guilt that they died and he didn't," Limbaugh said. "Well, that is a constant measurement that is made by political leftists when judging the country...
    "

Never a dull moment with the benefits of our beloved and most cherished freedom of speech rights ;)

Well, finally copied that first exhibition game and late last night had a look at the 1st quarter - strictly at our starting nose tackle and his backup at regular speed, super slo-mo, then regular speed again on each defensive down. (Remember, Lissemore slid over to take RDT and Geathers started at NT).

One of the few things left the Boyz have is a very, very, very good O-Line. Not great - but damn close to it. I predict Lissemore and Geathers are going to do fine if they can stay healthy - and if Geathers can play a game with his pads at the level I saw in that first quarter.

Am certain the defensive coaches have been going over tackling and setting the edge (Lissemore and Johnson got sucked in early). Tackling was poor - but can be fixed - same for setting the edge.

Bottom line, I am temporarily feeling better about the middle of our D-line. I reserve the right to be elated/deflated as time passes - but for now its better than I thought it would be. Our best test will be the 3rd exhibition game against the 9ers. The results of that one will be very telling on how the individual fatboyz are playing - we won't know how they are going to do playing as a team until about the 4th week of the regular season.

I believe I may have used that line myself a little over the years !!! [IMG]

Tackling has always been this teams biggest deficiency for years now, have no idea why it is, but we are definitely poor in that area and need to improve big time.

But, if your happy, I'm happy Dave !!!

Didn't realize St. Louis was such a police state...... overreaction to peaceful protests will not help that community heal.
