So, any news on the replacement? I know it's early but the message board always seem to have the inside scoop.

Twitter was buzzing that Frank Reich was fait accompli.

I don't hate or like that since I don't know whether or not he'll be good.

But he was with Whis in Arizona and you have to imagine they were grooming him if he's a given since I doubt they expected Whis to be here for very long. (A known risk when hiring an ex-HC at a coordinator position).

I would imagine if this is the case we don't see too much of a change in the offense unless Reich just stinks at it.

Eh a promotion from in house? I don't like that, rather we go after a innovative young OC and let Riech follow the whiz down to music city.

I wonder if we can get the Saints OC. Or maybe Chud would like to make a comeback.

Glad we didn't go this route. The system put in place this year helped Rivers have one of the best seasons of his career. We didn't need to blow it up and start over, just make a few tweaks, get a legit starting receiver to go opposite Allen and get more aggressive with our playcalling.

^^Yes^^. If the offense next season can resemble the Bills offense of the early 90's, I'd be comfortable with that.

Agreed - I thought the Chargers found a good offensive rhythm when they ran the No-Huddle. Could never understand why Whizzer would wait until the 2nd half to run it.
