I like that RM knows how to hold onto the ball with both hands, if he could jus do that more often vs the bread loafing.

I'm sorry sir you're going to have to specify which minutes of the game that was, I don't remember Royal dropping anything today.

Floyd dropped a bunch and I know that Gates dropped one or two, the rest I don't know. I don't recall Royal dropping any but then again how many times was he actually targeted?

Oh and its nice to see at 6:53 in 4th with the game OVER, then on a third down Norv runs a screen. Congratulations, dummy

Which once again points the concerns I mentioned the day we signed him.

Norv Turner has never...EVER...IN HIS ENTIRE 14 year career made use of a slot receiver. He simply does not unerstand how the game has changed, and the Falcons put it perfectly....a "touchdown or check down offense."

LOL yup, exactly why he didn't make the team. Norv couldn't make heads or tails of a receiver that wasn't over 6'2.

I have a feeling Richard Goodman might be a decent slot receiver as well, but we'll never know.

I don't know why Battle wasn't used to start the second half, Rygina wasn't working for the bolt's that for sure.

Your so full of ****, we gave up on the run game after halftime. I think Mathews only had 3 or 4 more carries, and still finished with a good average of 4.4 ypc. It was a solid first game back if not for that fumble.

The announcer points out that the Falcons have a problem with the power I. So why was our O genius using it from the start?

Proof that once again you don't actually watch the games. I bet you're watching the game cast on NFL.com.

And even then not paying attention, because at no point did Royal drop a pass today.

And Mathews had to fight for every inch. He broke probably 2 tackles for every carry he had.

Battle ran right through a huge hole and didn't get touched for the first 10 yards.

I like Battle, but he's no threat to run the ball outside or do anything after a catch.

I wounder how bad it would have been if Atlanta had a full week to prepare? Short week and long flight across the country and they still smashed us in the month!

    LOL classic Norv victory formation.

Starts the game on his knees, ends the game taking a knee.

I'm getting so tired of River's throwing games away, it doesn't help with all the drops there were today but damn he needs to make better in game decisions.

A drop? Gotta tell you this doesn't improve my suspicion that you're just watching the NFL.com game cast and not the actual game.

To be honest I already deleted the game off my DVR, I'll have to record the 30 minute re-run tonight to see if it was an actual drop, or another bad pass by Rivers under pressure...which when I think about it actually does ring a bell.
