And that's just the beginning. Read the rest of the article.

It's funny to me because last night I was wondering what Bush had done to earn his status as the NFL's #2 endorser behind Peyton Manning. And this article asks all the same questions, but not nearly as nicely.

    OUCH!

Maybe he needs to get with LT and learn what it takes to be a star in the NFL.

I use google all the time.

For example, I used google to check the correct spelling of the word "dilettante."

    That was harsh.

BUT, the whole Saints team sucked.

    Blocking Sucked
Their D was pathetic (Burnt toast)
Brees made a few of his classic throws that used to drive me nuts when he played for SD. Now I just laugh.
    Coaching was suspect.

LT has already told Reggie about taking care of his body in the off-season... Oh well.

Bush is overrated, plain and simple. YPC says it all. None of this "Oline isn't that good" junk either. Look who LT ran behind in his first two years.

I think some fantasy leaguers might feel like they're twisting in the wind right now.

Reggie trained hard with L.T. last year in the offseason.

He didn't do it this time, because he was busy doing other things, like the article stated. It showed last night.

Good lord. Yeah, Reggie Bush had an off game, but that writer was fking ANGRY!

Ten bucks says he had major action on the Saints to beat the spread, AND started Bush on his fantasy team.

Did you look up the meaning? A lover of art, or particular branch of knowledge if I remember correctly... :icon_huh:

Not sure how that fits into all of this, but congrats on spelling it correctly...

It means a "dabbler." Someone with many interests but with superficial or non-expert interest. Dilettante is definitely not a complimentary term.

Reggie Bush is a dilettante. If football doesn't become his primary reason for breathing soon he might reach bust status very quickly. He's been built up as a hall-of-fame caliber player, so anything less than pro-bowl appearances will be bust for him.

OIC! Yeah Bush definitely has not lived up to his billing.

But using the two back system last night didn't help matters either.

You might get more production out of Michael Turner.

    Seriously.

Amen. You have a ton of bolt fans who like him cause he's from san diego. so what if he's from SD. He is still an average player in the NFL.

Reggie really doesn't scare anyone in the nfl. He is all hype. Colston had a WAAAAY better year than him last year and although he got attention it was nothing compared to the attention Reggie got for simply doing his job and having an average game. Oh and please enough with the "Reggie helps just by being on the field" BS. Imagine if all LT did was act as a decoy.

It seems like Reggie has bought into his own hype and doesn't think he needs to work on his game. Big mistake. LT is the best Running Back in the game yet he still works his *** off and gets better every year. THAT'S HOW IT'S DONE REGGIE. Not by dancing for 10 seconds behind the line of scrimmage.

Well don't take my advice. I took Brees as my QB...

I'll go on the record and say with Vick out of the league Bush is now the OFFICIAL most overhyped player who really hasn't done **** in the league.

Damn that blows. He made 2.28 points in my league, but not on my team. I didn't even have Brees on my list of QBs I would draft.

Bush was off my board as well. I don't like RBBC.

It seemed to me that Bush went down as easy as Sproles does while being much bigger.

I also was wondering why Bush was getting so many commercials while LT was setting records. Dont you have to earn it? As a RB, Bush was nt even that good but overall he had a good year a a rookie but with Brees as your QB, you are going to get a lot of receptions since he is the king of dink.

He couldn't have trained as hard as he did last year with L.T. since Reggie was all over the continent attended pretty much every major event. When did he have the time?

While Reggie was partying at the PlayBoy Mansion, LT was doing his legendary workout. It's LT's workout that that magazine attributed to Reggie.
