Solid. Instead of Titus Young, how about Greg Salas from Hawaii? Currently leading the nation in receiving yards, had 1590 yds last year and 8 tds, 6-2 210. Or Kealoha Pilares from Hawaii? 3rd leading receiver in the nation.. Best part is I get to watch them play tomorrow at Aloha stadium vs Nevada! I'll give my "unofficial, official scouting report" on sunday. GO WARRIORS!!

(it's amazing how Hawaii sucks yet 2 of its receivers are 1 and 3 in receiving yards in the nation.. maybe because we're always passing because we're always losing. but seriously, they'd be better than titus young)

This guy is a stud! The only problem is that I think that teams will be looking at him as a punter instead of a kicker.

We could save a roster spot if we drafted him as our punter and kicker. How sweet would that be?

Tonight at the game vs Nevada he played a big part in the upset win over them. Whenever Moniz needed to throw for the first, Salas was open even in double coverage. He had great awareness and he has some great moves after the catch (11 receptions for 153 yards) and he just powered over defenders. He makes a statement whenever he gets the ball

This team needs to become much more physical. So these are the guys I want A.J. to consider next April.

    1. Miami defensive end Allen Bailey: A freak of an athlete at 6-4, 285 pounds. He had 3.5 sacks against North Carolina Saturday, giving him 5.5 sacks for the season.

    2. Alabama defensive end Marcel Dareus: He's the guy that knocked Colt McCoy out of last year's national championship game. At 6-4, 306 pounds he plays both nose tackle and defensive end in Nick Saban's 3-4. A dominating force.

    3. Ohio State defensive end Cameron Heyward: He's 6-5, 288 pounds, so I think he could play defensive end in the 3-4. An outstanding athlete.

    4. Clemson safety DeAndre McDaniel: I'll be really surprised if he doesn't get picked in the first round. He's 6-1, 215 pounds, hits like a linebacker, and is one of the best ball hawks in college football. I'm tired of seeing Eric Weddle get run over at the wrong time. McDaniel could be the guy that steps up and stops the Shonne Greenes to 4 or 5 yard gains.

    5. Wisconsin offensive tackle Gabe Carimi: Enough with the weakness at right tackle. That spot needs to be filled with a powerful run blocker, and Carimi is often mentioned as the best offensive tackle in the country. Listed at 6-7, 327 pounds, he has the size to be a mauler on the right side.

McDaniel: Tall and lanky, gets burned way too much, will be taken advantage of at the next level. He reminds me of Taylor Mays, not in good ways.
Carimi: Is going to plummet when people start watching his film, he's really slow against edge rushers and puts his head down when trying to make blocks. He's a OG in the NFL, count on it.

    Guys I really like...
DE Cameron Heyward (OHST): 2 words....Richard Seymour.
S Rahim Moore (UCLA): Had 13 Ints over last 2yrs.
OLB Von Miller (TAM): Had 17 sacks in 2009, and 21 tackles for loss. Teams scheme around him now.
OT Nate Solder (CU): Monster LT, swift feet, good leverage.
CB Patrick Peterson (LSU): Probably the best player in the country, we'll only have a chance if we go 6-10 or worse.
TE Kyle Rudolph (ND): I want a backup plan for Gates, spending a 2nd on this guy wouldn't be a bad idea.

Yeah if we're picking high enough to get Heyward or Peterson....I'd probably take AJ Green. I don't like the idea that we'll become even more pass oriented, but I think the chances are minimal that we are able to keep all Jackson, Floyd, and Naanee.

see i dont like Aj green i get to see him play alot and i just dont think hes gonna be great, i rather anchor our dline than Wr which we can pick up in a later round see Steve smith (CAR) i think he was a 4th rounder... either oline dline or a linebacker with our first pick

Was watching the Texas A&M-Oklahoma game earlier, and the Aggies have two guys worth following: outside linebacker Von Miller and cornerback Terrence Fredrickson. The announcer said Miller had 17 sacks last season and has 6 so far this year. Fredrickson looks like a very physical cornerback who covers well.

O and D line is in need of depth, unless a "special" player in on the boards. Somebody the team just can't pass up. Are there any DB's that look good? I haven't been watching much college play (the bcs stuff is nuts) so I'm ill informed but bigger, faster, stronger is a good start at any position.
