And Gross not being tendered... Surprised at this too. It is up to Germaine Race and Buckley now, and a possible draft pick to try and replace the Burner.

My my my, Olivea cut? I'd love to say, TOLD YA SO!:icon_tease:
I called this move weeks ago and some of you guys were calling me stupid.

This move along with the eventual move of Marlon McCree, LoNeal, and possibly Matt Wilhelm will open up cap space to resign players like Cromartie, Rivers, Merriman, McNeil, Castillo etc....

Is there any doubt that he was the player reffered to by Shawne and LT last year? The guy that they mentioned who didn't care about winning, and only cared about the money? He got benched, and he really didn't care judging by the weight gained while on it.

I can ramble on with random rantings and predictions and be right part of the time as well.

LO and McCree are already cut by the way.

Matt Will was not cut and I doubt he would. Cutting a player with the 2nd most tackles, tied for 3rd in interceptions in his first season as a starter and who is getting paid too much would be dumb.

People have been kicking around the trade word with Wilhelm, I dont think he'd be cut either.

Some people are high on Siler and Waters and some just hate Matt.

For some fans they get pissed when a player doesn't get an interception and doesn't tackle. I think some Charger fans have it too easy. We won't win all our games not all our players are probowlers we can't afford to have the best player at every position. Matt is better than average. Be happy with that.

    No chance on either point.

Won't be traded and won't be cut. There is NO ONE behind him that can currently play at his level.

...Possibly new Charger Derek Smith? A.J. undoubtably has a plan.

Not only was he getting Rivers killed but he also got Brees clobbered a few times, the NJ Yets game up in NJ comes to mind [the one in 2005] the one we made Brooks Bollinger look like Joe Montana.

Guys, no one on the roster, not even LT is untouchable when the right deal comes along, I love LT, I love Dan Fouts, I love John Jefferson but if any deal puts us in a position to win it all [SB] according to AJ, then I trust his judgement long term, don't get locked into loving a player forever especially in this era of free agency and salary cap...it's the lightningbolt on the helmet your rooting for not the name on the back of the jersey.

I see this signing as adding to a position we need to have some depth. When Wilhelm went down early in the season the D suffered.

AJ has 1 plan. Line em up 3 deep. Keep the best and cut the rest.

I am not locked into loving a player. When Wilhelm was out our ILB production was crap. With the current peeps on the roster, I see no reason that Wilhelm's job would be in jeopardy.

As to JJ. Klein was a fuking moron. Along with his decision re Fred Dean.

Agreed, without reservation. People expecting the whole starting defense to play at a pro bowl level are living in La La Land, especially when it is a first year starter. He won't be cut and he won't be traded unless Al Davis compounds his stupidity with Kelly and makes him an offer he can't refuse for Wilhelm. Olivea must not have even made an attempt to participate in off season conditioning. Over on his weight-35 pounds at the present over what is on the media guide.

Well, your boy is fat and lazy in addition to being a blue-ribbon A-hole. Other than that he's a pretty good guy.

Sometimes play declines. The whole offensive line played better last year. But when the rest of the line started to step it up towards the end of the season, Olivea didn't do as well as Clary, and he beat him out. Couple that with injury issues and what some have said were attitude problems, and Olivea was destined to be cut.

:icon_shrug: Sometimes that's just the way it goes.

I'm sure the guys on the team will miss him.

Wait, he didn't have any friends on the roster. Nevermind.

Hopefully the Raiders will sign him. I think that Shawne and Shaun would love to play against that fat *** with t-rex arms twice a year.
