Kansas City had no rushing first downs, at Arizona. It's the first time in franchise history the Chiefs won a game without a rushing first down.
    :icon_eek:

Wow! Who woulda thunk it? Not the same great Chiefs Oline anymore...that is for sure...:icon_huh:

Plus, didn't Larry Johnson suffer a sprained neck in the game?

    Also, Dante Hall is injured.

    The Chiefs have fallen greatly.

This year we beat them in Arrowhead!

Johnson had like 36 yards rushing against Arizona, although he did have over 100 yards receiving...most of it gained on one long screen play...
It has been tough going for LJ so far with that reworked OLine...
It is a long way from the line that helped him rush for 7 straight 100 yards games last season...
Somewhere LT is chuckling "So how does it feel LJ? It aint as easy as it seemed last year when running behind a line featuring 3 Pro Bowlers"...

I remember some ******** on commentary saying how much LT could do behind KC's line and it pisses me off to this day! Paybacks a *****!

And we've been vindicated, those of us who have been saying for the past year especially, that Larry Johnson's rushing yards were more a product of the OL than his talent.

When your OL blocks such that the RB doesn't get first contact until the second level most of the time, he's going to average 5 or 6 yards per carry.

    It sure don't hurt...
LJ is a great back (although a headcase for sure), but not as great as he seemed last season...I think Alexander is suffering from a similar circumstance...without Hutchinson, it just ain't as easy to dominate on the ground...

Yeah, go figure. Take away one or two Pro Bowl lineman and all of a sudden they become "normal" RBs.
