Interesting. Were all just waiting for the big one. Which they say is coming. It'll be interesting seeing how everything leads up to the big one so we know when the next big one will hit. Science.

It was the sound of Al Davis drop kicking Mike Williams contract out to the street.

15-20 seconds but seemed longer. I went running to grab my kid out of the tub. I've never felt an earthquake like that. Weird.

    Get an effing grip.

Quakes are not noteworthy unless they approach a 7.0.

Anything less and it is just another "Norv sucks" thread in disguise. :abq2:

Well, my house is only about 5 miles from the epicenter, so I definitely felt it.

Our apartment shook for a while but not really damaging or anything. More like, when's this going to stop??? My gf was calling for the cat like it was going to jump into her arms for safety or something:lol:

I felt it in Foster City(8 miles south of the SF Air Port). Felt like I was riding a wave in a boat. Tip to the left, tip to the right. Did that about 4 times.

Foster City is on bay fill, so we are in a liquefaction zone. Probably why it felt like I was riding a wave.

Funny yet scary truth about this statement is the big one WILL hit, who knows when, when the earth feels like it i guess.

It really has nothing to do with moderate movement as a precursor it's more a scientific fact that the possibility of a HUGE movement is much greater than not. When... man will most likely never know. But mega quakes don't threaten san andreas folks only. It will effect a large portion of the western shoreboard.
