Lead the Rams to their only Super Bowl victory

Lead the Cardinals to their only Super Bowl appearance

If Az wins in two weeks he will be the only QB in history to lead two different teams to a SB victory.

    Yes.

Funny thing is that he got St. Louis's team a Super Bowl title and now he might get one for their former team.

Even if they don't win it all, if Peyton Manning is a HOF'er then Kurt Warner has every right to it also.

Yes he is, even before this run with the cards. I believe I saw some stat, that he had more 400 yrd games, than... gasp.... Dan Fouts... :icon_eek:

If Brett Farve is, this guy is... while Brett has the most TD's, he has also played 7 more years.

I think his body of work speaks for itself. Yes. I have never been a fan of measuring a QB by the nimber of Superbowl Rings they have.

Kurt will make the hall, but I don't think it will be on the first ballot. Depends who else is on that ballot. A win in this year's SB will solidify a slot for him, but I don't think the Cardinals can beat the Steelers.

I agree.... this means the Steelers could be the first team with 6 rings...

It would be insane, imo, if Kurt Warner didn't get into the hall of fame. League MVP twice, won a Superbowl with the Rams, and took the Cardinals to the Superbowl. Seems to me like he's MVP material, don't you think?

The thing that's silly is the talk last week was who was more deserving, Warner or McNabb. McNabb? What in the hell has McNabb done to even be considered? He's been to the Super Bowl once and lost, and has been to the Pro Bowl five times. Never league MVP, never named to the first team All-Pro. The guy is a pretty good QB. But Hall of Fame? I don't think he is even close.

Win or lose, he will make the HOF one day.

Here's to Arizona kicking the crap out of the gay Steelers.:icon_toast:

Kurt Warner is definitely a Hall of Famer, and he was even before he led the Cards to the Big Dance…he’s a 2 time NFL MVP and a Superbowl MVP who is about to start his 3rd Superbowl. The stats he put up while throwing to Isaac Bruce, Az Hakim, Torry Holt & Marshal Faulk for those years leading “the greatest show on turf” would be good enough to get him into Canton, along with the other accolades on his impressive résumé.

I disagree, I don't think he has done it long enough to be a HOF. Not on the first ballot anyway.

I've never understood why people make a distinction between "1st ballot" and thereafter.

If someone's a hall of famer they're a hall of famer.

I don't get how someone can be a hall of famer, but "not 1st ballot"

I have this same discussion all the time regarding all Hall of Fame voting. Why in the world would someone not be worthy the first time you vote for them, but then somehow later, though they haven't played or done anything to change their body of work, they are suddenly worthy. It's ridiculous. ALL players should be eligible ONE TIME, they either get voted in, or they are no longer up for consideration.
