I don't fancy seeing that Wade Phillips prevent back here in San Diego. If we really hit the tank, and end up firing Cottrell, I'd much rather see some fresh blood coach the defense on this team. But, I don't see us tanking it anytime soon

With the pats inpaired this season from not being able to cheat as much they are showing just how average at best they are. NO wire taping. No video taping to steal signals to know just what your opponent will do each play. Sad they can't use those things this year. :icon_toast:

Jerry Jones has lost his ever-loving mind giving up THAT much.

The Lions SCORED BIG with this trade.

    bingo
they'll have a top 5 pick plus something late in the first, if they draft well, like KC, they could score big time

Maybe, but the Lions are going to have the #1 pick already.

Another #1 and two #2's will be all they can handle money wise.

So, unless they package them for something, then I'm not sure how they'll make it work

That's exactly right. They will run out of money for the rest of their draftees, get tight with the cap for their vets worth keeping and complicate negotiations. They'd be better off spreading the picks further into the future.

they could pull it off if they hire someone that knows how to make it happen

not sure who but I know the Ford family still has plenty of $$$ even if their company is in the crapper
